    Programme Quality Coordinator

    These are your responsibilities

    • Financial Quality Assurance: Oversee financial compliance across country office projects, ensuring alignment with donor regulations and internal financial controls.
    • Capacity Building Initiatives: Develop and implement targeted capacity-building programs focused on financial management and compliance with LCDF donor requirements.
    • Training and Development: Facilitate financial management and donor compliance training for CO staff to enhance their expertise and ensure adherence to standards.
    • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain meticulous records of compliance activities and provide regular reports to management on the status of financial compliance and capacity enhancement efforts.
    • Workshop Facilitation: Co-facilitate kick-off workshops for strategic LCDF projects, ensuring that all partners are well-versed in both donor and organizational requirements, fostering a unified approach to project initiation.
    • Learning Forums on Financial Compliance: Co-create and implement finance-related learning forums aimed at enhancing financial knowledge and compliance across COs, sharing best practices, and updating teams on newA wonderful serenity has taken over my whole soul, like the sweet spring mornings that I enjoy with all my heart.

    These are your qualifications

    • At least Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification in Finance or related area would be appreciated.
    • At least 5 years of relevant experience in financial management and capacity building within an NGO environment. Prior experience working with LCDF donors is highly desirable.
    • Willingness to travel 10-25% of working time (If necessary more than two weeks in row)
    • Strong financial acumen, Proficiency in financial software
    • Excellent organizational and communication skills
    • Demonstrated ability to manage complex donor requirements.
    • Identification with Christian values and the mandate of the CBM

    Regional MEAL Advisor

    These are your responsibilities

    • Play a crucial role in ensuring the effective implementation of MEAL activities within the humanitarian consortium with CBM operating in Cameroon, Niger, and Nigeria, serving as the primary focal point for all MEAL-related coordination among the three country offices, local partners, IHA focal persons, and the consortium partner.
    • Support the development and implementation of a comprehensive MEAL framework that aligns with the consortium’s objectives and the specific needs of the humanitarian activities of the project in the region.
    • Ensure that MEAL activities are effectively integrated into project planning and implementation processes and in line with German donor and consortium lead requirements.
    • Oversee the design and implementation of monitoring and evaluation plans for the project activities in the three countries in collaboration with the consortia coordinator, humanitarian coordinators and the MEAL focal person at IHA.
    • Ensure the collection, analysis, and reporting of data to assess project performance and impact.
    • Support the global MEAL Advisor of the lead INGO of the consortium as well as external consultants in evaluations.
    • Oversee the establishment and maintenance of a disability-inclusive feedback and reporting mechanisms to ensure target persons/ project participants’ voices are heard and integrated into program design and implementation.
    • Promote transparency and accountability within the consortium and to external stakeholders.
    • Document lessons learned and best practices from MEAL activities and share them with all relevant stakeholders of the project.
    • Support the adaptation of programs based on evaluation findings and feedback from beneficiaries.
    • Participate proactively in project review, planning processes and budgeting, ensuring program quality and value for money.
    • Act as liaison for MEAL activities between the country offices in Cameroon, Niger, and Nigeria, IHA, and the consortium partner.
    • Provide technical support and training to country office and local partner staff on project-specific MEAL methodologies, tools and best practices.
    • Facilitate regular meetings and communication to ensure alignment and sharing of best practices across the consortium.
    • Foster a culture of learning and accountability within the teams to enhance the quality of MEAL activities.

    These are your qualifications

    • A Master's degree in social sciences or management related field.
    • 4+ years relevant experience in an M&E and or/ project management role in the humanitarian sector or in other relevant sectors an advantage.
    • Strong expertise in monitoring and evaluation of complex projects, including M&E systems set-up implementation, data collection with different tools and databases, documentation and dissemination of learnings, quantitative and qualitative data analysis, research design, project management cycle.
    • Experience with accessible, disability-inclusive monitoring methods is an asset .
    • Experience in reporting on complex projects to international donors.
    • Work experience and willingness to work in insecure environments.
    • Knowledge and experience in Disability Inclusion would be a plus.
    • Knowledge of MS SharePoint solutions.
    • Proactive, problem-solving, thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environment, manage multiple priorities, and work independently within an international team.
    • Fluent in written and spoken English, knowledge of written and spoken French would be an advantage.
    • Identification with Christian values and the mandate of CBM.
