Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Program Director for the business subsidiary called the Phoenix Project.

• The PD will work in close collaboration with the CEO and stakeholders to identify, prioritize, and design activities that will respond to all stakeholder’s priorities in order to further the objectives of the project.
• Allocate resources and supplies as to ensure staff and volunteers can complete their responsibilities to their highest potential
• Create programs and challenges that are as effective and efficient as possible
• Ensure that all implemented activities are relevant to the mission and vision of the Phoenix Project
• Invest in building relationships, both with the outside community and with the population that the Phoenix Project targets.
• Be the public face of the Phoenix Project
• Carry out fundraising efforts with only the highest ethical standards
• Identify fundraising strategies that benefit and complement the mission and vision of the Phoenix Project
• Forecast, measure, and report the results of various projects with partners, including co-created and/or co-branded content promotions, lead sharing, and/or event partnerships.
• Maintain mutually beneficial ongoing relationships with current partners and offer new ways to grow the partnerships.
• Managing dashboards that facilitate the production of learner reports which includes insights on course adoption, course progress, complete learner data on the learner management system.
• Providing regular and periodic updates on learner progress and performance, over learning programme efficiency and recommendation for improvement
• Manage course production cycles and curriculum improvements, including scouting and recommending course facilitators for new courses.
• Define the strategy for the learner admissions, onboarding and transitions for each learning cycle and cohort.
• Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
• Oversee daily operations of the business unit
• Manage the business unit's resources.
• Assess and minimize risks to the business unit.
• Help with recruiting new staff members when necessary.
• Negotiate agreements and contracts for the Phoenix Project.
• Manage the Phoenix Project’s operating structure.

Leading the Charge

• Overseeing brainstorming sessions.
• Manage feedback of all executions from the team.
• Review and ensure teams’ output are visually appealing, functional in the market place and on brand.
• Stay updated on appropriate style guidelines and brand voice for consistency in messaging per project.
• Evaluating team performance and guiding improvements.
• Actively seek to resolve any concerns within your team while adhering to the company policy and standards of behavior before escalating to HR.
• Ensure company goals and objectives are being met by each team member in line with their individual goal and provide constructive feedback.
• Motivate team members to perform at their best
• Set clear goals and communicate that information to team members effectively
• Develop and lead team building exercises in line with HR policy.
• Create a supportive team environment in line with HR policy
• Empower team members with the skills they need to perform optimally working closely with HR
• Conduct performance reviews working closely with HR

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years’ relevant work experience with 5 years’ in similar industry
• LMS Certification is an added advantage
• Degree in Marketing/Business Development or Management
• Msc/MBA is an added advantage

Role Description

• This is a full-time General Product Manager role located on-site in Lagos for a subsidiary business called Accelerate Plus.
• The General Product Manager will be responsible for developing and executing product strategies, conducting market research, leading cross-functional teams, defining product requirements, and monitoring product performance.
• The General Product Manager will also work closely with the sales, marketing, and engineering teams to ensure successful product launches and ongoing success in the market.
• Implement business strategies, plans and procedures within Accelerate Plus
• Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth.
• Assess and manage the risks/threats to the Accelerate Plus platform.
• Oversee content curation, moderation, and management on the platform.
• Oversee content acquisition, sponsorships, and partnerships.
• Create product road map and strategy implementation plan.
• Manage and ensure the highest professional level of service delivery.
• Establish policies that promote Accelerate Plus’ culture and vision.
• Oversee daily operations of the company and the work of executives (HR, Finance)
• Assess and minimize risks to Accelerate Plus.
• Set strategic goals for Accelerate Plus
• Help with recruiting new staff members, when necessary, in line with the HR Policies within Accelerate Plus
• Negotiate agreements and contracts for the business unit.
• Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication within the business unit.
• Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics.
• Participate in expansion activities on behalf of the business unit (investments, acquisitions, corporate alliances etc.)
• Work with the CEO in the capital raise process, forging strategic partnerships and relationships with clients, vendors, banks, investors and all other professional business relationships.

Qualifications

• At least 7 years' Experience in product management, including developing and executing product strategies
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams
• Experience in conducting market research to identify opportunities and inform product decisions
• Strong analytical skills and experience with data-driven decision making
• Excellent project management skills to ensure successful product launches and ongoing success in the market
• A Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or related field
• Experience in the media or entertainment industry is preferred
• Experience with technology or software products is beneficial
• Masters Degree is an added advantage
