    Program/Community Mobilization Assistant

    Reports To: Program Manager

    Location: Kaduna and Jigawa

    Number of Positions: 2

    Brief Job Description: The position entails a time-limited-service contract. The suitable candidate must possess a first degree or its equivalent. S/he must be able to speak English and Hausa fluently and must be resident in the program state(Kaduna or Kano). S/he must possess a minimum of 2 years cognate experience in program implementation. A prior work experience in an INGO would be an asset. S/he must be willing to travel at short notice; must be hardworking; must be willing to work in security-prone environments; must love and be friendly to children, especially girls and persons with disability (PWD). S/he shall work under the supervision of the Program Manager/Deputy Country Director to discharge the following responsibilities:

    • Attend program meetings, conferences and other functions in the program state.
    • Supply information and materials from PMC to consortium partners and other stakeholders in line with PMC’s output and outcomes on the project.
    • Work with all stakeholders in the state to increase audience share and drive demand for the consortium’s program activities.
    • Ensure timely submission of contents from project activities of other program partners for PMC media campaigns in various media platforms and SBCC meetings.
    • Ensure timely submission of progress reports on program activities in the program states.
    • Write reports of program activities;
    • Maintain minutes of meetings;
    • Perform other duties as may be assigned.

    Program Officer

    About the Job:

    We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Program Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate must have experience in program planning and implementation in a fast-paced office environment.

    Brief Job Description: 

    The suitable candidate must be a university degree holder with excellent spoken and written English abilities. S/he must possess a minimum of 3-5 years cognate experience in program implementation. S/he must be willing to travel at short notice; must be hardworking; must be willing to work in security-prone environments; must love and be friendly to children, especially girls and persons with disability (PWD). A prior experience working with an INGO is highly recommended. S/he will work under the supervision of the Program Manager / Deputy Country Director to discharge the following responsibilities:

    • Contribute to program planning;
    • Analyze program proposals and objectives;
    • Develop program scope of work, timelines and milestones;
    • Serve as safeguarding and security resource person for the project;
    • Take part in organizing trainings and workshops;
    • Interface with program partners in the implementation of program activities
    • Obtain and maintain program data from field activities for record keeping;
    • Write reports of program activities
    • Maintain minutes of meeting;
    • Perform other duties as may be assigned by his/her supervisor

    Office Assistant/Cleaner

    About the Job:

    We are seeking a highly motivated and organized office assistant/cleaner to join 

    our team. The ideal candidate must have experience in office cleaning and in providing administrative and clericalsupport in a fast-paced office environment.

    Job Description:

    • Clean the office
    • Maintain inventory of janitorial items
    • Receive visitors
    • Notify management of any maintenance or repair needs
    • Photocopy, scan and file documents
    • Carry out other duties as may be assigned from time to time.

    Requirements:

    • Secondary School Certificate WASSCE, NECO or its equivalent
    • At least 2 years of experience in cleaning services andadministrative support 
    • Organizational and time management skills
    • Ability to work under pressure
    • Attention to details
    • Must be resident in Kano
