Objective / Purpose

• The production supervisor must have experience managing machine operators and helping them fulfil the requirements, such as increasing productivity and manufacturing quality Product. As Per Quality Policy.

Job Duties / Responsibilities / Accountabilities

• Allocation of machine operators effectively on machine, supervising frequently all over machine working hours.
• Follow the machine output monitoring and solve the machine line problems such as processing and molds related if it’s not in control to take prime responsible to inform Production Executive
• Responsible to control the mold change over time and planning change over time as instructed by Productive Executive
• Make ensure the quality of product as per the QA during mold change and monitoring during machine running time.
• Ensure all machine operator following the PPE During working hours
• Responsible to monitoring the machine cycle time as per the machine calibration report which is taken by daily.
• Responsible to maintain the machine productivity .and to be take the necessary action to reduce the rejection.
• Responsible for maintain 5S and housekeeping of shop floor.

Requirements

• Qualification: OND / HND / B.Sc. Degree.
• 1 - 2 years experience in any plastics manufacturing company.
• Professional membership and certification in relevant and recognised institutions.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, writing skills, communication and presentation skills including the ability to effectively communicate cross-functionally with Production Executive.

• Working Knowledge of Manufacturing process.

Work Cycle (Hours / Days):

• Monday - Sunday (7.00AM - 7.00PM).
• Monday - Sunday (7.00PM - 7.00AM)
• Off days: One day weekly.

Job Description

• Periodic Maintenance of the machine/Utility/Mould, and plant maintenance.
• Perform periodic checks on the Machine and solve problems as detected. Work with others in order to ensure that the Machines/ Utility / Mould is in proper working order.

Responsibilities

• Check and attend to production machines, mixing machines & Grinders and the utility section problems.
• Check the Preventive maintenance planning & make sure that all the production machines, Mixing, Grinding, Utility sections are running accordingly.
• First point of contact for any machine, mould, and other problems-tries to rectify if knowledgeable – otherwise inform Maintenance HOD.
• Maintain Diesel stock and maintenance activities by controlling the leakage and DG Running hours.
• Follow the Maintenance planning & instructions given by the maintenance HOD/Management.
• Maintain discipline on the shop floor. ( Do not rough behaviour with moulds & machines, Any worker should not sleep while on duty, Do not waste Energy / Fuel / Spare / and other goods Etc. All technicians on duty wear PPE)
• Ensure safety & security measures are adhered to safeguard the goods, moulds, machinery & machinery & human beings etc.
• Ensure cleanliness & upkeep of machinery, Shop-floor.
• According to the preventive maintenance plan, do the maintenance machine.
• Ensure the quality of the product being produced after the preventive maintenance of the machine.
• Monitor & control all Maintenance activities in the mixing section, grinding section, Production machine section, Quality testing equipment, etc. Also utility section (Generator, cooling water pumps/cooling tower, Fire hydrant system, RO, water treatment system etc.).
• Communicate & co-ordinate with the maintenance HOD of spare parts if required for smooth operation inthe  plant.
• Attend to Daily Machine, Mould, Mixing, Grinding, Utility, etc. problems.
• Maintain GAS GEN /DG Running Hours and change the GAS GEN/NEPA/DG panel whenever no power.
• Maintain Spare issuing stock at any time use any spare parts.
• Maintain the Daily work done book.
• Daily Mould Tightening and cleaning work to be done.
• Check and repair the Mould trolley, material trolley, truck, etc.

Requirements

• Candidates should possess an OND / HND with 2 - 3 years of experience.
