Production Supervisor Job Responsibilities and Duties

Quality Control

Roles & Responsibilities

• Ensures compliance to raw material standards through maintenance of good supplier control.
• Ensures compliance with product quality standards in terms of recipe and processing methods.
• Manages food safety through the establishment of prerequisite programs and Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point Plan for operational processes.
• Liaises with the statutory and the regulatory agencies such as NAFDAC, SON, LASEPA, NESREA, MDAs, LCDAs, and Public Health Officers
• Researches and develops new products through competitor benchmarking.
• Establishes and maintains standards for stock-keeping such as FIFO, FEFO & LILO.
• Establishes standards for best Hygiene Practices.
• Troubleshoots whenever there is a deviation in operational processes and standards.
• Monitors Operational Quality Cycle
• Ensures compliance to Human and Environmental Safety Policy of the organization.
• Trains and retrains staff on Food Safety, Quality Management systems and Best Hygiene Practices.
• Engages in periodic compliance audit of staff, operations, and equipment in relation to Quality and Hygiene standards.
• Carries out corrective actions and preventive actions implementation and reports on observations and/or compliance directives from regulatory bodies.
• Generates monthly and periodic reports to Management on Quality Circle Deviation.
• Any other duty as may be assigned by the Management.

Educational Qualification

• B. Sc. / HND in Food Science or any biological science fields
• Vast experience in Food processing and manufacturing
• Professional Certification in Quality, Food, Health, and Safety

This commercial spy will be responsible for collection of information on discreet commercial activities and strategies of our Cube Sugar product competitor companies. The information to be gathered from the company includes (but not limited) competing brands, company prices, discounts, incentives/promotional strategies and any other sales activities as required.

• The required candidate for the job is expected to have following features:
