    Production Chemist

    Job Summary

    •  This company is seeking a highly skilled Production Chemist to inform and assist supervisor about relevant activities, problems relating to operations, process conditions, instrument control, and safety system.
    • This would include standardization and specification of chemical injection/storage facilities, fluid sampling piping arrangements, and laboratory facilities/equipment.
    • The individual will be involved in providing a comprehensive service including problem assessment, solution identification, validation and treatment monitoring for optimum technical and commercial performance.

    Responsibilities

    • Work closely with relevant site operations team to troubleshoot process and integrity issues.
    • Carry out routine analysis of injected, produced and treated fluids and gas.
    • Engage in applications and monitoring of chemical treatment programs directly influencing integrity of process equipment, flow assurance and product quality.
    • Ensure proper handover during shift change and communication to all relevant parties, offshore and onshore.
    • Maintain auditable records of sampling, analyses, procedures and equipment calibrations.
    • Maintain an accurate and auditable record of production chemical use and discharge.
    • Provide support for oilfield specialty chemical product, applications and service.
    • Effectively manage the asset’s chemical managementsystem.
    • Provide troubleshooting of production system by checking and adjusting chemical injection rates.
    • Identify and notify mechanical failures with the chemical delivery systems.
    • Ensure that all appropriate HSE systems are adhered to.
    • Maintain chemical inventory records and recommending system/treatment improvements where necessary and providing functional specifications for systems upgrade.
    • Carry out laboratory analysis of crude oil and produced water.
    • Monitor safety system status and maintain high standard of safety practices in the execution of daily work, and always follows HSE’s established procedures.
    • Handle Emergency shut down and startups with minimum loss of Yield.

    Requirements 

    • B.Sc / B.Eng in Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
    • At least 5 years experience in Production Chemistry.
    • Practical post NYSC experience with development, application and optimization of all common production chemicals
    • Must have field experience with bottle-testing Demulsifier/Deoiler chemicals on site, to assist with process optimization.
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Must be diplomatic and display high level of emotional intelligence.
    • Must be proactive and have a sound understanding of current lab/field safety and environmental practices for chemicals/process fluids, and common effluent discharge quality limits.

    Well Engineering And Construction Manager

    Job Summary

    • A Well Engineering & Construction manager with capacity to influence at all levels by promoting a culture of collaboration and teamwork across multiple Product companies, functions, geographies, external parties, is needed.
    • As a Well Engineer, you will be responsible to lead all the well engineering activities the company.
    • The individual would be required to travel to site occasionally to participate in and conduct customer presentations as well as act as a focal point for technical innovation and promotion of best practice in drilling. 

    Responsibilities

    • To design Exploration, Appraisal and Development Wells in a cost-effective manner.
    • Engage in preparation of well engineering design and operational plans for drilling of wells in area of responsibility including well planning, casing design, material and equipment selection, log evaluation, quality assurance and post-job evaluation.
    • Define rig selection criteria and requirements.
    • Manage the Well Delivery Process (WDP) and the Project Maturation Process (PMP) and ensure compliance with the processes.
    • Ensure all engineering activities are in line with HSE policies and procedures
    • Provide technical input to the well construction, completions, well intervention and abandonment phases.
    • Provide technical input to the commercial and procurement teams
    • Prepare well design, well plan and operational procedures for construction, completion, intervention and/or abandonment of wells in area of responsibility. 
    • Communicate effectively with well site/project stakeholders and make recommendations for flawless service delivery and operational excellence.
    • Develop subordinate personnel to meet present and future drilling objectives.of the company
    • Engage in Cost/Risk analysis and AFE preparation for operations.
    • Produce well designs, plans and procedure to enhance the value of the assets.
    • Must be able to Integrate sub-surface objectives into well designs and program
    • Manage drilling management systems (reporting, benchmarking, lessons learned, competence assurance, well design, operations standards, technical manuals, homepage, well files etc.)
    • Act as focal point for technical innovation and promotion of Best Practices
    • Provide input where applicable, to major hazard management. The prevention, detection, control, mitigation and response to major accidents.
    • The creation of Engineering plans & SOPs
    • Responsible for the Service Quality and Delivery of the Drilled & Completed wells on time, depth, and budget
    • Serve as the Engineering Leader and the discipline SME.

    Requirements

    • BSc Degree in Petroleum, Mechanical or Chemical Engineering with over 15 years well engineering professional experience of leading and managing a well engineering team.
    • Have relevant extensive work experience in well construction, completions, intervention and/or optimization
    • Have a competency in drill bits/mills, BHA design, engineering simulations, field operations, preparation of programs, or similar.
    • Have competency working in at least two relevant applications: conventional rotary drilling, horizontal and/or multilateral wells, pad drilling, unconventional, coiled tubing drilling, underbalance or managed pressure drilling.
    • Experience managing an IOC or NOC’s Drilling team in the Niger Delta
    • Well Control certification is an added advantage
    • Onshore and offshore experience with a track record of delivery in a drilling engineering leadership role.
    • In depth experience with drilling operations (including stuck pipe avoidance, total losses etc.,), workovers and interventions, both from an office and a rig site perspective.
    • Excellent leadership, strong interpersonal influencing, analytical, decision making and planning skills.

    Senior Petrophysicist

    Job Summary

    • The senior Petro physicist provides top quality petrophysical interpretation skills for formation evaluation in well operations and field evaluation through successful field development.
    • The individual would support Enageed’s asset evaluation and management across operated and non-operated assets alongside working with petrophysical/G&G softwares to conduct petrophysical evaluations across different assets owned by company.

    Responsibilities

    • Support Enageed Drilling & Completions operations and rig safety.
    • Design optimum logging programs, considering the objective formations, fluid characteristics, and company budget.
    • Supervise computer analysis of new and old wells to obtain maximum reconciliation of log data with cores, drill stem tests, and geological sample descriptions.
    • Analyze dip meter, production, and fracture identification logs.
    • Analyze logs, by hand or by programmable calculator, when computer analysis is impossible or inappropriate.
    • Co-ordinate log analysis for integration into reservoir evaluations, reservoir model studies, or geophysical prospects.
    • Undertake special research or in-depth studies of problems, such as over-pressure, variable log evaluation parameters, or exotic minerals.
    • Prepare and present log evaluation courses for general or detailed study by oil company personnel.
    • Prepare detailed seismic models from well logs in conjunction with stratigraphic or structural assumptions and create synthetic seismograms for each model using a computerized system.
    • Attend well completion, drilling location, partner, and progress meetings.
    • Supervise logistics of logging, coring, testing, and lab operations.
    • Edit log data (re-scale, depth shift, point edit).
    • Prepare porosity and hydrocarbon volume accumulations with or without cut offs – detailed or summary listings
    • Provide many different log analysis methods, with user defined options, the choices depending on data quality and formation characteristics
    • Create reservoir summaries sorted by zone, project and cut off levels
    • Prepare synthetic seismograms on original or modelled data, with variable wavelet type and frequency, and create synthetic seismic section.
    • Support property modelling for static model generation. Knowledge/Skills
    • Knowledge of different petrophysics and formation evaluation software.
    • Workstation-based petrophysical interpretation on both wells and fields basis.
    • Well-rounded geoscientist experienced in all aspects of play-based evaluation concepts and methods.
    • Ability to rapidly analyze and identify critical success factors and risk elements, then to focus on these to efficiently develop the opportunity.
    • Well correlation analyses and sequence stratigraphy knowledge.
    • Strong inter-personal skills: coaching, mentorship, team play
    • Self starter with a lot of energy/initiative. Accurate and reliable worker with high degree of achievement drive, good presentation and communication skills.

    Qualifications

    • Master's Degree in Geology/Geophysics or Petroleum Geosciences.
    • Minimum of 15 years’ experience in petrophysical modeling and well data interpretation in an active E&P service or operating company.
    • Experience in data integration across the Geological, Engineering and Geophysical Environment.
    • Completed first and second levels technical training, introduction to management/interdisciplinary skills.
    • Advanced Knowledge of industry specific G&G software ( Petrel, Kingdom, Decision Space, etc)
