    Product Manager - Retention

    • We are looking for a Product Manager to help drive M-KOPA’s mission of building transformative lifetime financial partnerships with our customers.
    • This role offers the opportunity to drive significant customer and business impact through the implementation and iteration of critical engineering systems, internal tooling, and business processes. You'll work with talented cross-functional teams including engineers, data scientists, analysts, designers, and commercial stakeholders across multiple countries.

    In this role, you would be responsible for:

    • Owning the strategic direction and evolution of critical engineering systems and business processes

    Senior Procurement Manager - Second Life Smartphones

    • M-KOPA is looking for a Senior Sourcing Manager to join our Supply Chain Operations team and lead global Second Life Device Sourcing.
    • In this role, you will lead the global sourcing and lifecycle management of second Life Phones, drive supplier relationships, and ensure seamless transitions to new device models. You’ll take charge of sourcing processes, develop strategic supplier partnerships, and mentor a high-performing sourcing team to deliver measurable business outcomes.

    What You’ll Be Doing

    Sourcing Leadership:

    • Lead multi-sourcing efforts for 2nd Life Phones, negotiating competitive terms and ensuring the timely supply of products that meet market demands.
    • Implement inventory optimization strategies and ensure sufficient supplier coverage (at least two suppliers per device per country).
    • Oversee distributor onboarding, ensuring partnerships align with M-KOPA’s objectives.

    Product Management:

    • Manage new phone model transitions, verifying technical compatibility for each market.
    • Coordinate with the Market and 2nd Life Project Management teams to ensure successful product launches and lifecycle management.

    Supplier Relationship Management:

    • Own supplier relationships, acting as the primary point of contact while prioritizing M-KOPA’s interests.
    • Provide ongoing support for new and existing products, and coordinate with legal teams to develop supplier contracts and agreements.

    Team Development:

    • Mentor and develop a team of sourcing professionals, fostering a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.

    Who We’re Looking For

    • A Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
    • Experience in strategic sourcing or procurement, preferably with 2nd life/refurbished phones.
    • Proven expertise in supplier relationship management, negotiation, and category management strategies.
    • Technical knowledge to assess phone and market compatibility.
    • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and make informed decisions.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive impactful campaigns that enhance our customer experience and loyalty.
    • This role offers the opportunity to drive significant customer and business impact. You will be a member of a small team with the big responsibility of driving the growth of M-KOPA’s Digital Financial Services products, which enable M-KOPA’s mission of becoming a transformative lifetime financial partner to our customers. You'll work cross-functionally with product managers, credit analysts, and commercial operators across multiple countries.
    • We are looking for someone with growth experience who is excited about taking on big challenges within a growing team — if that sounds fun to you, you might be a fit!

    In this role, you would be responsible for:

    • Developing and executing growth campaigns. You will create and manage weekly growth campaigns. You will identify key customer segments and tailor campaigns to suit them. And you will utilize various marketing channels, including SMS, in-app notifications, and social media to execute campaigns. 
    • Conducting A/B testing. You will plan and conduct A/B tests to optimize campaign performance and identify areas for improvement. You will analyze and interpret test results to make data-driven decisions and iterate on campaign strategies. 
    • Tracking and analyzing campaign results. You will define the core campaign metrics needed to achieve growth objectives and KPIs. You will monitor and measure the effectiveness of growth campaigns against those metrics. You will prepare and present campaign performance reports to stakeholders, providing actionable insights. 
    • Optimizing customer journeys. You will utilize customer data and insights to identify pain points and opportunities in the customer journey. You will propose and implement improvements to existing customer journeys to improve conversion rates. 
    • Collaborating with cross-functional teams. You will work closely with the marketing, product, commercial, customer care, and data analytics teams to align campaign strategies with broader business objectives. You will leverage customer feedback and data to improve overall conversion rates. 
    • This is a fully remote role and will include travel across our different markets and working within the UTC -1 through UTC+3 time zones.

    Your application should demonstrate:

    • 3+ years working in relevant roles
    • Proven experience in developing and executing growth campaigns. Experience in B2C companies is a plus!
    • Proficiency in A/B testing methodologies and campaign optimization techniques
    • Familiarity with marketing automation platforms and customer segmentation strategies
    • That you are extremely results-focused and are a self-starter, with excellent decision-making and problem-solving skills
