    Procurement Manager

    Job Purpose

    • To provide value-driven procurement support to support the achievement of business cost and value propositions
    • To work with stakeholders in building and managing supplier relationships.
    • Ensure a clear understanding of supplier portfolio, capabilities, and reliability to support operations.
    • To work closely with other supply chain functions in establishing continuous supplier quality improvement.

    Key Accountabilities

    • Contribute and manage the standard costing process and cost projection for assigned portfolios; providing all standard cost data to the Finance function as required for the budgeting process.
    • Develop and Execute sourcing strategies for the assigned portfolios to deliver business benefits or internal customers aligned to Cost, Innovation, quality, and service.
    • Commercial negotiation to deliver minimum variance to Raw Material budget/standard cost.
    • Identify sustainable and long-term savings opportunities through the strategy creation process, identifying and exploring all potential value levers.
    • Lead, develop and manage the Raw Material supply base toward building effective strategic relationships with key suppliers
    • Lead and manage the achievement of Sustainability G4B policies (Palm Promise, REACH, Localisation, etc) as applicable in the assigned portfolio.
    • Engaging with and understanding the business requirements of internal customers and stakeholders.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree (or HND) in Business, Finance, Materials Management, or related fields. MBA/ CIPS will be an added advantage.
    • 5 - 8 years of experience cognate experience
    • excellent negotiation skills
    • Strong organization skills
    • Written and verbal communication skills.

    Technical / Professional Experience:

    • Able to communicate in English, speaking, reading, and writing.
    • IT skills, MS Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
    • Diagnosis skills and Problem-solving techniques/tools
    • Knowledge in Project Management
    • Previous experience in procurement function preferred.

    Financial Manager

    Overview

    • We are currently looking to hire an experienced and qualified Financial Manager for our organization.

    Responsibilities
    In this role, you will be responsible for:

    • Develop and implement an annual budget for business operations
    • Oversee and supervise the financial and management accounting functions
    • Develop and implement financial forecasting plans.
    • Work with the team to manage effective relations with regulators and auditors.
    • Ensure monthly reconciliation of accounts payables and receivables.
    • Prepare frequent data-driven financial reports that champion a better grasp of the company’s financial status, both current and future.
    • Assist the team with the costing and pricing
    • Liaise with the inventory officer on stock level and ensure procurements of required stock before stock out.
    • Carry out periodic inventory reconciliations.
    • Ensure prompt payment of all bank transactions.
    • Develop a reliable cash flow projection process and reporting mechanism that includes a minimum cash threshold to meet operating needs.
    • Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction
    • Ensure optimum financing structure (debt and equity)
    • Compile withholding tax and value-added tax, PAYEE, and other statutory payments.
    • Calculate net salaries, deductions, withholdings, and delivery payments.
    • Provide advice to management on how to cut costs, improve revenue and boost profits.
    • Keep informed about current legislation relating to finance and accounting.
    • Perform other related tasks as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or any other business-related field
    • Professional accounting qualification e.g. ICAN, ACCA (Student Membership minimum)
    • Minimum of 5 years experience as an Accountant.

    Requirements:

    • Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
    • Possess strong budget and management skills, including proven ability to manage project/ process
    • Strong Analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Good knowledge of statutory and regulatory issues as well as global best practices
    • Advanced Microsoft Excel (data manipulation, advanced formulas, pivot tables, lookupsetc.).
    • Proficient with other Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word).

    • Understanding of business functions such as HR, Finance, marketing, etc.
    • Demonstrable competency in strategic planning and business development
    • MBA will be an added advantage.
    • 8 years and above work experience.
    • In-depth knowledge of the company’s system.
    • Experience in fundraising will be a plus
    • Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities
    • Excellent interpersonal and public speaking skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Aptitude in decision-making and problem-solving
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
