    POS Technician (Gombe)

    Job Purpose

    • The POS Technician is saddled with the responsibility of repairing, supporting, and maintaining the Point of Sales (POS) and related devices. Work involves maintenance and support of all POS terminals ( Linux and Android, Mpos, and Kiosk) within our distribution network.

    Responsibilities

    • Work closely within the hardware department to manage the end-to-end repair process.
    • Provide second-level support on hardware-related issues.
    • Manage & Coordinate Terminal Repair Centers across our network
    • Perform other duties as delegated and assigned by his/her Line Manager

    Requirements

    • Minimum of B.Sc./HND in any related discipline
    • At least 2 years of experience in a related role.
    • Proficient in English
    • Technical ability to carry out repairs on PAX, Aisino, Smartpeck, and Topwise Terminals.
    • Good computer skills. Must have knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work with limited supervision.
    • Must be self-driven and be able to take initiative
    • Good Relationship skills and emotional intelligence skills
    • Experience with the Agency banking business would be an added advantage.
    • Must be resident in Gombe State.

    Business Relationship Manager - Niger

    About The Role

    • We are currently looking to hire a Business relationship manager, the ideal candidate will be responsible for Merchant Acquisition, developing sales strategies and identifying business growth opportunities.

    Inventory & Support Officer

    Job Summary

    • The Card Inventory & Support Officer is responsible for the accurate tracking, storage, and quality control of all card inventory, ensuring strict compliance with packaging standards. This role is critical in preventing and resolving inventory discrepancies, especially those related to packaging mix-ups, serial number errors, and QR code integrity.

    Key Responsibilities

    ⁠Inventory Management and Tracking

    • Maintain accurate, real-time records of all card inventory levels, locations, and movements using the designated inventory management system.
    • Conduct regular counts and full physical inventories to reconcile stock with system data and investigate any variances.
    • Manage the inbound receiving process, verifying quantities against shipping documents and ensuring timely and accurate system entry.
    • Oversee the organization and security of the card storage area.

    Quality Control and Serialization Integrity (Crucial Focus)

    • Implement and enforce rigorous quality control (QC) checks upon receipt of card shipments to detect packaging and serialization errors immediately.
    • Specifically check for and resolve issues including:
    • External/Internal Content Mismatch: Verify that the product description/type on the card box matches the actual cards inside.
    • Serial Number Mismatch: Confirm that the envelope carton numbers align precisely with the card serial numbers contained within the envelopes.
    • QR Code Integrity: Audit external and internal QR codes to ensure uniqueness and correct association, proactively identifying and resolving instances of duplicate or swapped QR codes (as previously noted).
    • Document all identified QC failures (e.g., mix-ups, serial errors) and coordinate corrective action with the procurement and vendor management teams.

    Documentation and Issue Resolution

    • Create and maintain detailed logs of all inventory discrepancies, packaging issues, and resolution steps.
    • Serve as the primary point of contact for internal stakeholders (e.g., Operations, Logistics) regarding card inventory status and issues.
    • Prepare and present weekly/monthly reports on inventory accuracy, QC failure rates, and corrective actions taken.
    • Lead the investigation into the root cause of recurring packaging and serialization errors, providing data-driven recommendations for process improvement.

    System and Process Improvement

    • Collaborate with IT and other departments to optimize the use of scanning technology and inventory systems to enhance accuracy.
    • Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for receiving, storage, counting, and quality checking card inventory.

    Required Qualifications

    • Minimum of OND
    • Proven experience in inventory management, warehousing, or quality control, preferably within a highly regulated or security-sensitive environment
    • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy.
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and troubleshoot complex serialization and numbering issues.
    • Proficiency with Database management systems (DMS) and Microsoft Excel is a plus.
    • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, for documenting issues and coordinating with vendors.

    Lead, Cloud Engineering

    About the Role

    • You will lead a distributed team of cloud engineers responsible for ensuring our Google Cloud Platform (GCP) infrastructure is secure, scalable, and resilient — powering critical financial services and high-volume payment systems.
    • This role combines hands-on technical leadership with strategic oversight. You’ll work closely with backend, frontend, security, and SRE teams to strengthen our cloud foundations, optimize CI/CD processes, and ensure world-class uptime, compliance, and observability.

    Key Responsibilities
    Leadership & Strategy:

    • Lead and mentor the Cloud Engineering team across multiple time zones.
    • Define and execute Moniepoint’s cloud infrastructure roadmap aligned with business and engineering goals.

    • Maintain and scale Kubernetes (GKE) clusters supporting Java/Spring-based microservices.
    • Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines with GitLab, Jenkins, Harness, and ArgoCD.
    • Integrate and enforce code quality through SonarQube and automated security scans.
    • Implement automated testing, deployment, and rollback mechanisms across environments.

    Monitoring, Reliability & Operations:

    • Maintain platform observability using New Relic, Stackdriver, and custom dashboards.
    • Oversee incident response and escalation processes with PagerDuty, ensuring continuous availability.
    • Define and meet SLOs/SLAs aligned with business-critical systems (e.g., ≥99.99% uptime).

    Cost Management & Optimization:

    • Monitor and optimize GCP spend across compute, storage, and database workloads.

    • Collaborate with Finance and Product teams to forecast and manage cloud budgets.
