Key Responsibilities
The Policy & Research Analyst will perform the following activities:

• Source news content daily for the Hub
• Support video and text content creation for website and social media channels
• Facilitate the planning and implementation of TEH Power Dialogues and other events.
• Manage special projects and programmes.

Qualifications
The successful candidate should possess the following:

• Bachelor's Degree with a demonstrated interest in the power sector. (Masters’ degree is a bonus).
• Minimum of 3 years of experience working in the energy or any related sector.
• Possess research and communications skills.
• Must be able to develop and manage creative information campaigns and communications programmes.
• Must be able to lead teams of competent members to yield desired project results.
• Must have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, ability to manage relations with development partners and clients.
• Must have a high level of energy, initiative and flexibility in quickly adjusting to changing work program requirements.
• Must possess a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple changing and competing priorities.
• Must have excellent oral and written communication skills in English.
• Able to work independently when needed or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities

• The Assistant will perform the following activities:
• Source and publish daily news content for the Hub
• Develop and publish video/written blog content for the website and social media channels
• Facilitate the planning and implementation of TEH Power Dialogues and other events.
• Manage and support special projects and programmes.
• Support the production of the Ladies Podcast.

Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s)

• Design and produce video and written content for TEH media platforms.
• Publish daily news articles and blog content.
• Develop weekly social media content
• Work with Nextier Power to facilitate bi-weekly podcast episodes.
• Facilitate and support the implementation of the monthly Power Dialogue and other events

Qualifications

• Must be a Youth Corper with a Bachelor's Degree and at least a 2:1 in any field.
• Candidate must be willing to produce video and other related contents
• Working knowledge of necessary productivity tools, including Microsoft Office Suite, WordPress
• Knowledge of or the ability to quickly learn how to use the standard web and social media platforms
• Proven experience being able to handle multiple tasks at the same time
• Notable organisational and event management skills.
• Strong communication skills and the willingness to make phone calls, emails, and other communications with clients
• Able to work independently when needed or as part of a team.
