Key Responsibilities

• Assist the pharmacist in preparing and dispensing prescriptions accurately.
• Receive and confirm prescription orders from patients and healthcare providers.
• Count, label, and package medications according to prescription requirements.
• Maintain accurate patient records and update inventory systems.
• Ensure proper storage of medicines according to standard protocols.
• Assist in stock management—receiving, shelving, and monitoring expiry dates.
• Educate patients on basic medication usage and provide excellent customer service.
• Comply with all regulatory standards and pharmacy best practices.
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the dispensary and pharmacy area.
• Support the pharmacist in any administrative or operational duties as required.

Requirements

• Previous experience in a retail or hospital pharmacy is an advantage.
• Good knowledge of medications and pharmacy practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
• Proficient in basic computer use and pharmacy software systems.
• Must be dependable, trustworthy, and customer-service oriented.

Requirements
