We are seeking a talented and motivated Vue.JS Frontend Engineer to join our innovative team. In this role, the ideal candidate will be responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing user interfaces using Vue.js and related frontend technologies as well as ensuring seamless user experiences, responsive designs, and efficient application performance, The ideal candidate will also work closely with cross-functional teams to build efficient and robust systems that meet our business objectives in the payment and banking industry.

Summary of Responsibilities

UI/UX Development

• Develop responsive, accessible, and intuitive financial dashboards, payment interfaces, and customer portals.
• Implement pixel-perfect designs from UI/UX tools like Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD.
• Ensure compliance with fintech accessibility and usability standards.

API Integration & Real-Time Data Handling

• Consume and manage data from RESTful APIs, GraphQL, and WebSockets.
• Work with real-time financial data, ensuring accurate and efficient updates.
• Handle authentication and secure data exchange using OAuth, JWT, and API keys.

Performance & Optimization

• Optimize Vue.js components for low-latency financial transactions.
• Implement lazy loading, caching strategies, and code splitting for high-performance applications.
• Use Vue DevTools and performance monitoring tools to enhance efficiency.

Security & Compliance

• Implement secure UI interactions for sensitive financial data.
• Follow industry security standards like PCI DSS, GDPR, and SOC 2 compliance.
• Prevent vulnerabilities such as XSS, CSRF, and clickjacking.

State Management & Data Visualization

• Manage complex application states using Vuex or Pinia.
• Implement interactive charts and graphs for financial analytics (D3.js, Chart.js, Highcharts).
• Ensure real-time updates for transactions, stock prices, and market trends.

Testing & Debugging

• Write unit, integration, and end-to-end tests (Jest, Cypress, Vue Test Utils).
• Debug UI issues and optimize performance using DevTools and logging tools.
• Implement automated testing to maintain high code quality and prevent regressions.

Deployment & CI/CD

• Optimize the frontend build process using Vite or Webpack.
• Integrate CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployments.
• Work with cloud-based deployment solutions like AWS Amplify, Netlify, or Vercel.

Collaboration & Continuous Learning

• Work closely with backend engineers, product managers, and compliance teams.
• Stay updated with fintech regulations and security protocols.

Requirements

• 4-5 years experience with Vue.js (Vue 3 preferred) and modern frontend frameworks  
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
• Proficiency in TypeScript and component-based architecture  
• Experience with state management (Vuex/Pinia) and API integrations  
• High Knowledge in building intuitive, high-performance, and scalable user interfaces  
• Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, backend engineers, product managers)  
• Proficiency in Testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, Vue Test Utils)
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

The ideal candidate will be responsible in providing technical assistance to employees; helps maintain IT Infrastructures and gains hands-on-experience in troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues. This role is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to build a foundation in IT Support, system administration, and Cybersecurity in the payment and banking industry.

Summary of responsibilities

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

• Assist in diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
• Provide helpdesk support via email, phone, or in-person for employees.
• Set up and configure computers, printers, and peripherals.

System Maintenance & Updates

• Install, update, and configure software, operating systems, and security patches.
• Help maintain IT infrastructure, including servers, cloud storage, and databases.
• Assist in managing user accounts and access permissions.

Network & Security Assistance

• Support Wi-Fi, LAN, and VPN troubleshooting.
• Assist with firewall, antivirus, and cybersecurity measures.
• Follow IT security best practices to protect sensitive data.

IT Documentation & Reporting

• Maintain an inventory of IT assets (laptops, monitors, accessories, etc.).
• Document common technical issues and their resolutions.
• Assist in creating guides and training materials for employees.

Learning & Collaboration

• Gain hands-on experience with enterprise IT tools, cloud platforms, and ticketing systems.
• Collaborate with senior IT staff on projects and system upgrades.
• Stay updated with latest IT trends and best practices.

Requirements

• 0-1 year of experience in IT support and system configurations
• Currently pursuing or a recent graduate in Computer Science, IT, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). 
• Eager to learn new technologies and IT best practices
• Ability to diagnose and resolve basic IT issues (hardware, software, and connectivity)
• Understanding of networking concepts (IP, DNS, VPN, firewalls).
• Familiarity with Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, or similar IT tools.
• Basic scripting knowledge (PowerShell, Bash or Python )
• Strong problem-solving, communication skills and, teamwork skills.
• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies.
• Strong Analytical skills to identify technical problems and solutions

Summary of responsibilities

Financial Record keeping

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including invoices, receipts, and expense reports.
• Perform reconciliations of bank statements and general ledger accounts.

Financial Reporting

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and management reports.
• Analyze financial data to identify discrepancies and propose corrective actions.

Tax Compliance

• Prepare and file tax returns in compliance with local regulations.
• Ensure timely remittance of statutory deductions (e.g., VAT, PAYE, etc.).

Accounts Payable/Receivable

• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and on time.
• Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up on payments.

Internal Controls

• Support the implementation and monitoring of financial policies and internal controls.
• Conduct periodic audits to ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Maximum of 2 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Sage, or similar).
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations and reporting standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other MS Office tools.
