We are looking for a competent Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, develop and implement complex electrical systems and innovative electrical projects.

Responsibilities include creating technical specifications, supervising electrical engineering teams, ensuring system safety and performance, and producing detailed electrical design schematics.

Our ideal candidates are well-versed in electrical engineering theories and regulations, capable of managing a project life cycle and have proven experience in a senior electrical engineering role.Ultimately, the role of the Senior Electrical Engineer is to oversee and deliver high-quality, innovative and efficient electrical systems in line with industry standards and project objectives.

The duties and responsibilities of a Senior Electrical Engineer include:

• Designing, developing, and testing electrical equipment and systems
• Overseeing the manufacturing, installation, and testing of electrical equipment to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards
• Identifying and addressing performance and production issues
• Preparing and studying technical drawings, specifications of electrical systems, and topographical maps to ensure that installation and operations conform to standards and customer requirements
• Investigating and testing vendors’ and competitors’ products
• Maintaining and improving existing engineering processes
• Developing and implementing project schedules and budgets
• Coordinating with project teams, clients, and consultants for project development
• Providing technical guidance and mentoring to junior electrical engineers
• Ensuring compliance with the company’s Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policiesKeeping abreast of advancements in electrical engineering and applying new technologies where relevant

• Take responsibility for ensuring safety on site, develops strategies that drive performance and support continuous improvement.
• Monitors compliance to HSE standards on project site and base office; conduct scheduled site safety
• inspection, follow up actions and inspections to determine compliance.
• Induct new employees.
• Liaise with governmental organizations and regulatory agencies on matters relating to Health, Safety, and Environment
• Assist in the investigation of incidents for root cause identification and preventive action
• Manage the first aid, and medical emergency service needs
• Conduct and present monthly safety findings
• Develop HSE documents for bidding process.
• Implement risk assessment and controls on base and site activities
• Increase health and safety awareness at all levels within the organization;
• Act as liaison with all related governmental bodies and regulating agencies;
• Conduct regular safety training and briefing on site in areas of safety, including first aid, CPR, accident
• prevention and investigation, work place inspections and other matters related to implementing safety procedures.
• Maintain open communication with management
• Responsible for the operation of the Environmental and Social Management System
• Engage in continuous education and staff development
• Responsible for contributing to the HSE department in a professional manner which seeks to ensure that it is effective and commands a high standard of respect both internally and externally.
