Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Project Coordinator to support the planning, execution, and maintenance of power grid infrastructure projects. The ideal candidate will assist in coordinating all aspects of project delivery—from Technical Site Survey (TSS), Site allocation coordination to Installation, metering, energisation, synchronization, vending, commissioning, invoicing and long-term maintenance activities. This role involves close collaboration with engineers, field teams, contractors, Regulatory body (NEMSA, LECAN etc.), and government authorities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate the day-to-day activities of power grid implementation and maintenance projects.
- Track project schedules, milestones, and deliverables to ensure on-time completion.
- Prepare and maintain detailed project documentation including work plans, BOQ, progress reports, and compliance records.
- Ensure all project activities adhere to safety standards, environmental regulations, and grid codes.
- Provide support in commissioning, testing, and post-implementation maintenance tracking.
- Ensure effective communication across project teams and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Power Systems, Project Management, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–4 years of experience in project coordination, preferably in utility, energy, or infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with electrical grid systems, substations, and transmission lines is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of national and international electrical standards and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Excel, and other project management tools.
