    Network Operations Center (NOC) Engineer

    Job Brief

    • We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented NOC Engineer who will be responsible for monitoring, maintaining, and ensuring the stability of the network infrastructure and services, and coordinating timely resolutions to maintain high service availability for customers.

    Responsibilities

    • Monitor ISP backbone, access networks, and customer links using NMS tools.
    • Detect and respond to alarms, outages, or performance degradations.
    • Log, prioritize, and escalate incidents in accordance with SLAs.
    • Perform first-level and second-level troubleshooting for network faults.
    • Provide remote support to field engineers during installations, repairs, or escalations.
    • Work closely with Tier-3/Engineering teams for complex issues.
    • Support routine maintenance activities (upgrades, patches, backups).
    • Implement and monitor change requests following standard procedures.
    • Document and update network diagrams, incident logs, and technical reports.
    • Communicate effectively with customers on service status and incident resolutions.
    • Ensure timely updates to clients and account managers during outages.
    • Track KPIs (uptime, latency, throughput, packet loss).
    • Recommend improvements to enhance network reliability and customer experience.

    Key Attributes and Competiencies

    • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Telecommunications, or related field (or equivalent experience).
    • 2+ years’ experience in ISP, telecom, or enterprise networking environment.
    • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and routing/switching.
    • Experience with monitoring tools (e.g., PRTG, SolarWinds, Nagios, Zabbix, Cacti).
    • Familiarity with fiber optics, wireless, and last-mile technologies.
    • Hands-on with Cisco, Juniper, Mikrotik, or Huawei equipment.
    • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.

    Preferred Certifications (Optional but Valuable):

    • CCNA/CCNP (Cisco Certified Network Associate/Professional)
    • JNCIA/JNCIS (Juniper)
    • Mikrotik MTCNA/MTCRE

    Network Support Engineer

    Job Brief

    • We are seeking a skilled and motivated Network Support Engineer to ensure smooth running, monitoring, and maintenance of the network infrastructure, providing technical support to customers and internal teams, and ensuring high availability, reliability, and performance of internet services.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide first and second-level support for network-related issues.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve faults on routers, switches, firewalls, wireless devices, and other network equipment.
    • Monitor network performance, capacity, and availability using NMS (Network Monitoring Systems).
    • Escalate unresolved issues to higher-level engineers or vendors.
    • Handle customer complaints, troubleshoot connectivity problems, and provide timely resolution.
    • Support business and enterprise customers with dedicated internet or leased line connections.

    Requirements

    • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN, VLANs, and routing protocols.
    • Experience with network devices (Cisco, MikroTik, Ubiquiti, Juniper, Huawei, etc.).

    Network Optimization Engineer

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a highly skilled Network Optimization Engineerwho will beresponsible for analyzing, designing, implementing, and optimizing network infrastructure to ensure high performance, reliability, scalability, and efficiency.

    Responsibilities

    • Monitor and analyze network performance metrics (latency, throughput, packet loss, jitter, etc.) to identify bottlenecks and areas of improvement.
    • Plan and implement optimization strategies to enhance capacity utilization, stability, and overall quality of service (QoS).
    • Conduct regular audits of network configurations, routing protocols, and traffic flows.

    Fiber Field Technician

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking a skilled Fiber Field Technician who will beresponsible for the installation, splicing, testing, maintenance, and repair of fiber optic cables and related infrastructure.
    • The role involves supporting network rollouts, troubleshooting connectivity issues, ensuring service quality, and providing on-site technical support to customers and internal teams.

    Responsibilities

    • Install, splice, terminate, and test fiber optic cables for backbone, access, and last-mile connections.
    • Perform aerial and underground fiber installation in compliance with safety standards.
    • Carry out customer premises equipment (CPE) installation and ensure proper connectivity.
    • Diagnose and repair fiber cuts, faults, and service interruptions.
    • Conduct OTDR, power meter, and light source testing for link verification.

    • Proficiency with OTDR, power meters, splicing machines, and other fiber testing tools.
    • Strong knowledge of fiber cable construction, termination, and splicing techniques.
    • Understanding of GPON, FTTH, Metro Fiber, and backbone infrastructure.
    • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
    • Excellent communication and customer service skills.
    • Ability to work under pressure and in challenging environments.
    • Willingness to work flexible hours ( weekends, and holidays if needed).

    Salary
    N120,000 - N150,000 / Month.
