    National Sales Manager

    Job Description

    • We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-driven National Sales Manager to lead the company's sales function across Nigeria.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing national sales strategies, driving revenue growth, expanding the customer base, managing regional sales teams, and strengthening the company's position in the market.
    • The ideal candidate should have strong experience in logistics, courier, transportation, e-commerce, distribution, or a related industry, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets at a national or multi-regional level.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Develop and execute the company's national sales strategy in line with overall business objectives.
    • Set, communicate, and monitor sales targets across all regions and sales teams.
    • Lead, manage, coach, and motivate Regional Sales Managers and other sales personnel.
    • Drive revenue growth, customer acquisition, customer retention, and market expansion across Nigeria.
    • Identify new business opportunities and develop strategies to penetrate new markets.
    • Develop and maintain relationships with key corporate, institutional, and high-value customers.
    • Identify and pursue strategic partnerships and major business accounts.
    • Establish and maintain a strong national sales pipeline.
    • Monitor regional sales performance and implement corrective actions where targets are not being achieved.
    • Analyse market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, pricing, and industry developments to identify opportunities and threats.
    • Develop sales forecasts, budgets, and performance reports for management.
    • Ensure effective use of CRM and other sales management tools across the sales function.
    • Work closely with Operations, Finance, Customer Service, Marketing, and other departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
    • Ensure that sales activities are aligned with the company's pricing, profitability, and commercial objectives.
    • Review and improve sales processes, systems, and strategies to increase productivity and conversion rates.
    • Lead national sales meetings, performance reviews, and business development initiatives.
    • Represent the company in major client meetings, industry events, business negotiations, and strategic engagements.
    • Develop performance standards and KPIs for the national and regional sales teams.
    • Build a high-performance sales culture focused on accountability, customer satisfaction, and revenue growth.
    • Provide regular reports and strategic recommendations to senior management.

    Requirements
    Education:

    • Bachelor's Degree or HND in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Economics, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
    • Professional certification in Sales, Marketing, Business Development, or a related discipline will be an added advantage.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience in Sales, Business Development, or Commercial Management.
    • At least 3–5 years of experience in a senior sales management role managing multiple regions, branches, or sales teams.
    • Proven experience managing and developing Regional Sales Managers or geographically dispersed sales teams.
    • Experience working in a logistics, courier, transportation, e-commerce, distribution, FMCG, or related industry is highly preferred.
    • Proven track record of consistently achieving and exceeding significant sales targets.
    • Demonstrated experience in acquiring and managing major corporate and strategic accounts.
    • Experience developing national sales strategies and managing sales budgets and forecasts.

    Fleet Manager

    Job Description

    • We are seeking an experienced and highly organised Fleet Manager to oversee and manage the company's fleet of vehicles and motorcycles used for logistics and delivery operations.
    • The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring fleet availability, safety, efficiency, proper maintenance, cost control, and compliance with company and regulatory requirements.
    • The ideal candidate must have proven experience managing fleets within a logistics, transportation, courier, delivery, or related industry and should be able to effectively manage drivers/riders, vehicle maintenance, fuel consumption, documentation, and fleet performance.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Manage the day-to-day operations of the company's fleet of vehicles and motorcycles.
    • Ensure all vehicles and motorcycles are available, roadworthy, safe, and fit for operations.
    • Supervise drivers, riders, mechanics, and other fleet-related personnel.
    • Monitor vehicle and motorcycle allocation, movement, utilisation, and availability.
    • Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules to minimise breakdowns and operational downtime.
    • Coordinate vehicle servicing, repairs, inspections, and maintenance with approved vendors and mechanics.
    • Monitor and control fuel consumption and investigate unusual or excessive fuel usage.
    • Maintain accurate records of fuel, repairs, servicing, mileage, vehicle history, insurance, licences, and other fleet documentation.

    • Minimum of 5 years' relevant work experience in fleet management, preferably within a logistics, courier, transportation, delivery, or distribution company.
    • Candidates must have direct experience managing a fleet in a previous or current role.
    • Experience as a Fleet Manager, Fleet Operations Manager, Transport Manager, Logistics Manager, or a similar management position will be highly preferred.
    • Experience managing drivers, riders, vehicles and/or motorcycles is required.
    • Practical experience in vehicle maintenance, fuel management, fleet tracking, documentation, and cost control is essential.
    • Experience working in a fast-paced logistics or last-mile delivery environment is highly desirable.

    Other Requirements:

    • Must have proven experience working in a logistics, courier, transportation, delivery, or related company.
    • Candidates who have only administrative experience without direct fleet-management responsibility will not be considered.
    • Must demonstrate practical knowledge of fleet operations and vehicle/motorcycle maintenance.
    • Must be willing to work flexible hours when operational requirements demand it.
    • Must be proactive, reliable, accountable, and safety-conscious.
    • Ability to respond to fleet emergencies and operational issues promptly.
    • A valid driver's licence is required; experience riding or managing motorcycles will be an added advantage.
    • Must be comfortable working with fleet records, reports, budgets, and operational data.
