The Mobile Developer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining cross-platform mobile applications for Android and iOS using React Native and Expo.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of mobile application architecture, API integration, performance optimization, and modern development practices.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain cross-platform mobile applications using React Native and Expo.
Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement intuitive and responsive user interfaces.
Integrate mobile applications with RESTful APIs and backend services.
Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following industry best practices.
Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues to ensure optimal performance.
Optimize applications for speed, scalability, and user experience.
Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms.
Manage application deployment to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Work closely with backend developers, product managers, and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development processes.
Stay updated with emerging mobile technologies, frameworks, and industry trends.
Eligibility
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years' experience developing mobile applications with React Native.
Strong proficiency in React Native.
Hands-on experience with Expo and the Expo ecosystem.
Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript.
Experience integrating RESTful APIs and third-party services.
Knowledge of state management libraries such as Redux, Context API, or Zustand.
Experience with Git version control.
Familiarity with Firebase services (Authentication, Firestore, Push Notifications, Analytics) is an added advantage.
Experience with mobile app deployment to the Google Play Store and Apple App Store.
Understanding of mobile application security best practices.
Knowledge of responsive design principles and mobile UI/UX guidelines.
Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines for mobile applications is an added advantage.
Proven portfolio of published or deployed mobile applications.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments is an advantage.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
High attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
Self-motivated with a willingness to learn new technologies.
