    MHC Maintenance Supervisor

    Key Responsibilities
    You will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and supervising maintenance activities for Mobile Harbour Cranes (MHCs) to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient container operations. Your key responsibilities will include:

    • Supervise preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance of Mobile Harbour Cranes, spreaders, and auxiliary systems
    • Ensure maintenance activities comply with OEM standards, statutory requirements, and terminal procedures
    • Prioritize and close defects raised from statutory inspections and examiner defect lists
    • Provide planning input on manpower, spare parts, tools, and task sequencing to minimize downtime
    • Monitor equipment performance and initiate proactive maintenance actions
    • Lead and supervise crane technicians, electricians, and mechanics, ensuring effective task allocation and handovers
    • Analyze breakdowns, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
    • Track and review maintenance KPIs including availability, MTBF, MTTR, and PM/CM ratios
    • Enforce HSE standards, including toolbox talks, risk assessments, and Lockout/Tagout procedures
    • Provide advanced technical troubleshooting support for mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic crane systems
    • Coordinate with OEMs, contractors, and external service providers for complex technical interventions
    • Manage spare parts inventory, ensuring availability of critical components while optimizing stock levels
    • Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports, and work orders within the CMMS
    • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, including RCM practices, Kaizen activities, and process optimisation
    • Support alignment between maintenance, operations, safety, and planning teams

    What We Are Looking For

    • We are looking for a technically strong and hands‑on maintenance supervisor who can deliver reliable crane performance while maintaining high safety and quality standards.

    • HND or bachelor’s degree (B.Eng.) in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
    • Strong understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems, including the ability to read, interpret and apply technical drawings and schematics.
    • Good knowledge of Siemens Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and associated control systems.
    • Proficiency in Siemens STEP 7 SIMATIC Manager and related applications.
    • Strong experience with Siemens SINAMICS drives, including their operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
    • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory maintenance role.
    • Demonstrated experience in designing and implementing maintenance programs.
    • Experience in spare parts criticality management and asset maintenance planning.
    • Good understanding of applicable safety regulations, standards, and requirements within terminal, port, or industrial operations.
    • Proven ability to coach, mentor, and transfer technical knowledge to team members through structured training and development programs.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Experience using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), such as IFS, SAP PM, or similar platforms.

    IT / OT Onsite Support

    Key Responsibilities

    • Provide end-user support for desktops, laptops, printers, mobile phones, and Office applications.
    • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues for terminal users.
    • Support and maintain local IT/OT infrastructure and operational technology assets.
    • Conduct maintenance and provide hands-on support for CCTV, OCR equipment, biometric readers, radios, and vehicle-mounted terminals (VMTs).
    • Partner with regional IT service delivery teams to execute incident and change management activities requiring on-site support.
    • Resolve incidents within agreed service level targets and ensure timely communication with stakeholders.
    • Support the implementation of approved infrastructure changes and contribute to service reliability and operational continuity.

    • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively with local users and regional support teams.
    • Customer-focused approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities, take ownership of issues, and deliver professional support in a fast-paced environment.

    Mobile Equipment Mechanic

    Key Responsibilities

    • Carry out maintenance, repairs, and modifications on reach stackers, empty handlers, forklifts, trucks, and related equipment
    • Diagnose equipment breakdowns and perform corrective repairs to minimise downtime and maximise availability
    • Execute preventive and corrective maintenance in line with OEM standards and safety regulations
    • Repair defects raised through examiner defect lists and inspection reports
    • Complete work orders, confirmation slips, and maintenance records accurately
    • Follow HSSE rules, safe working procedures, and housekeeping standards
    • Work shifts and standby duties to support 24‑hour terminal operations.

    What We Are Looking For

    • Continuous improvement mindset: curiosity about equipment reliability and commitment to safe, quality workmanship
    • ND, HND, BSc, or Trade Test in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline
    • 3–5 years’ experience as a mechanic in ports, mines, steel, or manufacturing environments
    • Experience working with mobile equipment such as reach stackers, empty handlers, and forklifts
    • Basic electrical knowledge and ability to read technical manuals and drawings
    • Willingness to respond to emergency repairs and work shifts.
