Role Description

• This is a full-time on-site role for a Medical Doctor at FCC Healthcare in Lagos.
• The Medical Doctor will be responsible for assessing the health status of patients, diagnosing illnesses and prescribing treatment, performing surgeries, and providing ongoing patient care.
• The Medical Doctor will collaborate with other medical professionals and ensure the highest standard of healthcare is provided to patients.

Qualifications

• Medical Degree from an accredited institution
• Valid Medical license in Nigeria
• Experience in patient care, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work well in a team
• Advanced knowledge of medical terminology, disease processes, and pharmacology
• Experience with patient electronic medical records (EMR)
• Experience in the cardiology or cardiovascular specialty is a plus
• Postgraduate degree(s) or certification(s) in a relevant field is a plus

Description:

Responsibilities:

• Respond to patient’s medical problems by referring to their history.
• Participate in all treatment and preventative health care services as delegated and agreed upon the supervising medical Director 
• Maintaining accurate documentation using EMR
• Interview Patients , take medical histories, perform physical examination, analyze,diagnose, and explain medical problems during consultation, interpret results under the supervision of the medical Director and referral, where necessary.
• Maintaining confidentiality and impartiality at all times.
• Explaining procedures or prescribed treatment to patients 
• Liaising with other medical professionals in the hospital.
• Formulate and diagnosed treatment plans, in consultation with or referring to supervising Doctors as appropriate.
• Give clinical instruction to Nursing staffs and other clinical teams as required.

Requirements:

• Degree in medicine from an accredited University.
• Candidate should posses an MBSS qualification with 13 years experience 
• Compulsory completion of Nysc
• The candidate should have Uptodate registration and license to practice medicine from the MDCN(Nigerian Medical and Dental Council Associations)
• Knowledge of general medicine
• Computer literacy 
• Excellent communication skills 
• Fantastic counseling and listening skills 
• Good organizational and time management skills.
