Job Summary

• We are seeking a passionate and detail-oriented Mechanical Technician Trainee to join our team. This is an entry-level, hands-on training opportunity designed for candidates interested in developing skills in mechanical systems maintenance, repair, and diagnostics within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the inspection, servicing, and repair of mechanical equipment such as pumps, motors, conveyors, and production machinery
• Learn and adhere to safety procedures, company standards, and equipment manuals
• Support preventive maintenance tasks and keep accurate maintenance records
• Participate in root-cause analysis of mechanical faults and recommend solutions
• Work closely with senior technicians and engineers to develop technical knowledge
• Keep workspaces clean, organized, and in compliance with housekeeping standards

Qualifications

• Minimum of a technical diploma or OND in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
• Basic understanding of mechanical tools, machinery, and safety practices

Job Summary:

• We are seeking an experienced HVAC Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems across our manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will ensure optimal environmental conditions to support continuous production and employee comfort.

Key Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including chillers, boilers, air handlers, RTUs, split systems, and exhaust systems.
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults for HVAC systems and recommend corrective measures.
• Monitor HVAC system performance using BMS (Building Management System).
• Perform scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to minimize downtime.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs, repair records, and compliance documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, production, and safety teams to ensure systems operate efficiently and safely.
• Ensure all HVAC operations comply with OSHA, EPA, and local safety and environmental codes.
• Support other facility systems including compressed air, ventilation, and refrigeration if applicable.

Qualifications:

• ND/Test Trade, HVAC certification, or associate degree preferred.
• Valid HVAC Technician License (as per local regulations).
• 3+ years of experience in HVAC maintenance in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
• Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.
• Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, and automated building systems is a plus.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs, work at heights, and in confined spaces when needed.
