    Mechanical Technician

    Job Overview

    • We are hiring on behalf of our client for the role of Mechanical Technician.
    • The ideal candidates will have hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or production environment and be skilled in handling various mechanical systems and equipment.

    Requirements
    Educational Qualification:

    • Trade Test Certificate or Ordinary National Diploma (OND) in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

    Experience:

    • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience in mechanical maintenance within a manufacturing or production environment.
    • Experience with rotating equipment, conveyors, mixers, pumps, and filling machines is desirable.

    Technical Skills:

    • Proficient in troubleshooting, repairs, and maintenance of mechanical systems.
    • Ability to read mechanical drawings and interpret equipment manuals.
    • Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and FFS machines.
    • Knowledge of HVAC systems, Air Handling Units (AHUs), and humidifiers is an added advantage.

    Soft Skills:

    • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
    • Excellent teamwork, communication, and attention to detail.
    • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time efficiently.

    Physical & Work Conditions:

    • Willingness to work on-site or in industrial settings.

    Formwork Carpenter Supervisor

    Job Summary

    • We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Formwork Carpenter Supervisor to oversee and coordinate all carpentry activities related to formwork construction.
    • The ideal candidate will have a strong background in formwork carpentry, leadership skills to manage a team, and the ability to ensure projects are completed to the highest standards of safety, quality, and efficiency.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Supervise and coordinate daily activities of formwork carpenters on-site.
    • Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans to guide formwork assembly.
    • Ensure all formwork installations meet required specifications and quality standards.
    • Monitor work progress, allocate tasks, and manage resources effectively.

    Quality Assurance Manager (Milling)

    Location: Ilaro, Ogun

    Job Summary

    • The Quality Assurance Manager will be responsible for driving quality consistency of all products and minimize the cost of non-conformities through raw material inspection and continuous monitoring of production processes/product dispatch to ensure that products turn out exceeds the expectations of esteemed customers while meeting all regulatory requirements.
    • The role requires expertise on Quality Management systems, Food Safety Management Systems and Environmental Management systems.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Responsible for the definition, development and implementation of processes, systems and procedures to manage product quality and minimize the cost of non-conformities through raw material inspection, process audit, chemical/microbial analyses and to meet all set standards, good manufacturing practices (GMPs), customer requirements and statutory regulations and profitability to the business, while maintaining integrity of the business and brands as it relates to product quality.
    • Conduct environmental assay of production areas and swab test of food contact surfaces/worktops to ascertain the air quality of production areas and sanitary level of food contact surfaces/worktops respectively.
    • Maintains specifications and standards to sustain product quality through continuous quality improvement, collection, monitoring and reporting data.
    • Ensures that the conditions of storage of raw materials, semi-finished and finished products are adequate and monitored for safe keeping of the materials to avoid generation of B&D.
    • General Management of Quality Control Laboratory. Equipment installation, calibration and maintenance
    • Verifies compliance and conformance to standards and specification.
    • Liaises with Government regulatory bodies: SON, NAFDAC laboratories and offices, State Environmental Protection Agency and Ministry of Health, NESREA on prompt compliance with regulations/requirements.

    Qualifications

    • Degree or HND holder in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Food Science & Technology or Laboratory Science Technology with at least 5 years of experience managing Quality Assurance Laboratory in a wheat or Maize milling Company.
    • Knowledge of applicable Legislation as well as Procedures, Production Knowledge and Complaint Handling Knowledge
    • Integrated Pest Management Knowledge
    • Good knowledge of Laboratory equipment, installation, calibration and maintenance.
    • Professional accreditation to Nigeria Institute of Food Science and Technology, Chemical Society of Nigeria and other relevant bodies.

    Salary
    N600,000 Monthly.
