    Mechnical / Electrical Mentainance Technican

    Brief Description

    • Coordinate and lead the Mechanical/Electrical Maintenance Technician team and make sure facilities are kept in good operating conditions.
    • Inspect equipment, assign tasks, set up schedules, supervise repairs, and enforce safety policies.

    Duties

    • Oversee and direct preventive maintenance activities among the maintenance team.
    • Check daily and maintain the condition of all production equipment and machines.
    • Control downtime by informing production workers of routine preventive maintenance techniques; monitoring compliance.
    • Maintain equipment, parts, and supplies inventories by checking stock to determine inventory level; anticipating needed equipment, parts, and supplies; placing and expediting orders; verifying receipt.
    • Prepare mechanical maintenance reports by collecting, analyzing and summarizing information and trends.
    • Supervise the implementation of preventative/annual equipment maintenance programs, reducing equipment downtime and spoilage significantly.
    • Conduct daily, weekly and monthly preventive maintenance plans.
    • Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.
    • Provide technical advice and solutions for equipment issues.
    • Coach and provide guidance to maintenance team on maintenance activities.
    • Drive route cause analyses over machine or process safety failures.
    • Take up IMS responsibilities such as reporting unsafe act, condition or procedure in the work place, participating in fire or emergency drill at work, participating in incident reporting and investigation when necessary and adherence to Company policies

    Minimum Requirements

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • B.Eng Mechanical, Electro-Mechanical or equivalent is a plus.
    • Min 7-8 years of proven work experience in general factory mechanical machinery, plant & equipment.

    Competencies:

    • Strong experience in heavy industrial equipment
    • Strong ability to read, interpret and work from blueprints, specifications and parts lists
    • Strong ability to layout and apply approved mechanical principles for installing and maintaining industrial equipment
    • Ability to use Computerized Maintenance Management System
    • Use predictive maintenance tools and techniques to reduce equipment breakdown
    • Excellent coordination skills
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Excellent planning and organizing skills
    • Able to inspire, motivate and lead a team
    • Highly enthusiastic
    • Able to work under pressure and to meet tight deadline

    Welding and Fabrication Supervisor

    Description

    • The candidate is expected to organize, coordinate and supervise the work of Section Leads and their employees within the Fabrication and Welding unit to ensure an effective and efficient fabrication operation that meets safety, quality, and production standards.

    Duties

    • Assign work to Section Leads to attain department objectives using knowledge of production processes, company policies, production schedules, work orders, equipment capacity and employee capabilities.
    • Readily perceive and effectively respond to schedules and product flows essential to supervising highly productive, cost-effective, quality-oriented manufacturing operations.
    • Establish and control procedures to meet production schedules.
    • Oversee daily job responsibilities of the Section Leads.
    • Recommends and initiates improvements to production processes with the aim to increase manufacturing efficiency.
    • Establish and control procedures to ensure production of conforming fabricated assembly components.
    • Monitors and controls established procedures to ensure compliance with quality standards.
    • Ensure an effective and accurate production line that minimizes costs and aligns with the unit objectives.
    • Establishes and monitors cost control systems to achieve unit budget objectives.
    • Provides training, support, direction and guidance to unit employees to continually develop their work habits, job skills and safety practices.
    • Communicate job expectations and performance requirements to Section Leads.
    • Ensure good understanding and interpretation of engineering drawings and plan layout specifications by Section Leads.
    • Gather and analyse information from Section Leads to identify root causes and troubleshooting issues face on production line.
    • Coordinate with Maintenance department on daily maintenance priorities, future maintenance, and engineering projects.
    • Participate in succession planning for personal growth as well as development of Section Leads and employees.
    • Ensure materials are received early by all sections for week plan.
    • Run reports in AX/DOLPHIN to track and move material throughout the Departments to support on-time delivery.
    • Report the progress of production flow to Production Manager.
    • Take up IMS responsibilities such as reporting unsafe act, condition or procedure in the workplace, participating in fire or emergency drill at work, participating in incident reporting and investigation when necessary and adherence to Company policies.

    Minimum Requirements

    • High School Diploma or equivalent.
    • Welding & Fabrication Engineering or equivalent is a plus.
    • Min 7-8 years of proven work experience in an Industrial/ Manufacturing environment.

    Competencies:

    • Able to learn and understand software and complete transactions pertaining to fabrication or welding operations,
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Demonstrate ability to supervise diverse work groups in a team environment usingeffective listening, coaching, training, investigative and problem-solving skills, ability to exercise initiative, sound judgment and effective time management in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision
    • Able to read and interpret welding process
    • Able to understand and apply workplace safety procedures
    • Practical knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment required
    • Able to manipulate tools and assembly components involving fine and gross motor skills sufficient to demonstrate welding job tasks
    • Strong stamina and physical strength.
    • Excellent coordination and team work skills
    • Excellent planning and organizing skills
    • Able to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines
    • Proven ability to implement process improvement initiatives
    • Strong reporting skills
    • Strong attention to details.
