Key Responsibilities

• Ensure materials and equipment are available on time, in good working condition, and compliant with required QA/QC standards.
• Manage Deepwater equipment storage, shipment, return, and inventory.
• Raise and follow up stock consumption and subcontracting Purchase Requisitions (PRs).
• Follow up Purchase Orders (POs), goods receipts, and material procurement activities.
• Coordinate material picking lists and movement of drilling materials to rigs.
• Create and maintain material numbers in SAP in line with established standards.
• Reconcile SAP records with physical stock and support stock control activities.
• Ensure materials are properly shelved, labelled, and stored in the correct SAP bin locations.
• Coordinate material re-integration from rigs following refurbishment or recertification.
• Ensure the correct materials are delivered to rigs on time.
• Support local purchasing, quotations, service requests, waivers, and goods receipt processes.
• Liaise with vendors regarding invoices, PO documentation, and service delivery.
• Support scrap/disposal processes and maintain accurate inventory records.
• Ensure compliance with applicable safety, operational, and quality requirements.

Requirements

• Technician-level formal education or relevant technical qualification.
• Entry-level / beginner professional experience in a relevant technical, materials, logistics, or oil & gas environment.
• SAP experience is required.
• Knowledge of Deepwater drilling and completion equipment and associated logistics is an advantage.
• Basic understanding of drilling/completion operations, logistics, inventory management, and material control.
• Good coordination, communication, follow-up, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work effectively with drilling, completion, logistics, stock control, procurement, and vendor teams.

Job Summary

• To provide technical leadership and assurance across its well stock, supporting safe and efficient well operations throughout the well lifecycle.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and continuously update the company’s Well Status Register and Well Integrity databases.
• Monitor and assess the integrity status of wells across Drilling & Wells and Field Operations.
• Conduct well integrity risk assessments for non-compliant and major-defect wells.
• Prepare and manage well integrity risk assessments, derogations, investigations, remediation, and inspection programs.
• Calculate Maximum Allowable Annulus Surface Pressure (MAASP) and define annulus operating limits.
• Review annulus pressure trends and participate in Wells-at-Risk and Well Integrity review meetings.
• Provide technical support for well integrity issues identified during operations.
• Review Well Intervention Requests and ensure proposed remedial activities address identified integrity issues.
• Coordinate with Well Intervention and Planning teams to ensure timely execution of corrective and preventive maintenance.
• Participate in HAZID, risk assessments, BOD reviews, and well construction activities to identify integrity concerns.
• Identify and escalate well integrity risks, non-conformances, and potential threats.
• Support the development and improvement of Well Integrity standards, procedures, and assurance processes.
• Provide technical guidance, mentoring, and training to junior engineers.
• Promote Well Integrity awareness, technical excellence, collaboration, and HSE across multidisciplinary teams.
• Participate in the preparation and review of well intervention and wellhead maintenance programs.
• Undertake occasional mandatory visits to onshore, offshore, and Deepwater well sites.

Requirements

• HND, BSc, or BEng in Engineering or a relevant Science discipline.
• MSc in an Oil & Gas-related field is an added advantage.
• 6–10 years’ experience in Oil & Gas, particularly in Drilling, Completion, Intervention, Well Integrity, or Well Services Engineering.
• Previous operational experience in Drilling, Completion, or Well Intervention.
• Strong knowledge of Well Design, Well Construction, Production, and Reservoir Engineering.
• In-depth knowledge of well equipment, components, drilling, and completion techniques.
• Strong understanding of well integrity parameters and failure mechanisms from reservoir to surface production.
• Proven experience in well integrity programs, data analysis, risk assessment, and technical decision-making.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, reporting, communication, leadership, and negotiation skills.
• Good knowledge of regulations, industry standards, and best practices governing Well Integrity.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Willingness and ability to travel to onshore and offshore well sites.

Certifications
The following will be advantageous:

• IWCF Well Intervention Pressure Control – Engineer Level 4, covering:
  • Completion Operations
  • Completion Equipment
  • Coiled Tubing Operations
  • Wireline Operations
  • Snubbing Operations
• BOSIET / THUET
• CA-EBS
• Valid Offshore Safety Permit (OSP)
• Valid annual medical examination certificate
