    Duties and Responsibilities
    Accounting:

    • Performing Accounting/Internal Audit duties, including investigation and review of existing procedures;
    • Taking charge of receipts, disbursement and accounting for Government funds in a Local Government;
    • Indenting for, consulting and issuing of Treasury books and forms;
    • Evaluating for loans and projects and analysing investment;
    • Performing such other duties as may be assigned.

    Revenue:

    • Taking charge of a Unit in the Treasury and Accounts Section of a Local Government;
    • Reconciliation of Internal account with the Unit of treasury Account;
    • Rendering financial returns and reports as required by the Financial Memoranda;

    • Interpreting and analysing Final Accounts of Institutions in which Local Government has interest
