    Marketing Officer

    Job Description

    • The Marketing Officer will work under the supervision of the Head of Business Development and Marketing.
    • The Marketing Officer will be responsible to directly support the Third Party Administrators in the implementation of the marketing plans for the Kwara State Health Insurance Scheme.
    • Tasks include amongst others: identify marketing opportunities, support marketing, and sales training and workshops, evaluate and discuss the effectiveness of implemented marketing strategies, assess client experiences and provide es recommendations, review and analyse marketing plans, reports and dashboards.

    Responsibilities

    • Initiate and promote aggressive marketing campaign.
    • Develop and ensure the implementation of effective marketing Plan.
    • Identify and develop market penetration strategies for the Scheme Coordinate and participate in products promotional programs.
    • Prepare weekly and monthly reports of the marketing activities.
    • Sourcing of new clients while maintaining relationships with existing clients Conduct regular market intelligence activities

    Minimum Requirements

    • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree or equivalent.
    • MBA or relevant Master's Degree would be an added advantage.
    • Minimum of five (5) years relevant experience in a Marketing role.
    • Good Communication and negotiations skills.
    • Result oriented and ready to meet and surpass target.
    • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint).
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

    Business Development Manager

    Job Description

    • The Head, Business Development & Marketing will drive the development and implementation of the Agency's strategic and tactical plans for customer acquisition, Income generation awareness creation, and the achievement of growth objectives.
    • The Successful candidate will facilitate enabling partners and alliances, manage strategic relations with stakeholders, and develop winning marketing and communications strategies.
    • The Head of Business Development and Marketing will report to the Executive Secretary of the Agency.

    Responsibilities
    Strategy & Planning:

    • Propose efficient strategy for customer acquisition, business plan and budget, to drive enrollee and income growth and the achievement of set goals and targets.
    • Develop Integrated marketing strategies, pricing and sales plans.
    • Develop supporting implementation plans to drive the execution of states and business plans.
    • Lead market research, market and competitor analysis, for Insights to support business decision-making and Identity opportunities as well as the lever knowledge of the market and competitors to identity and develop the Agency's unique soling propositions and differentiators.
    • Track and monitor business development and marketing performance in line with defined goals and metrics, deploy appropriate interventions where necessary.
    • Provide expert advice on business development and marketing.
    • Keep abreast of economic, industry, market, and regulatory trends, score the potential impact on the Agency, advise management accordingly, and take appropriate action to strengthen the Agency's position.
    • Present monthly reports to management as required.

    Business Development:

    • Prospect for and identify new business opportunities.
    • Lead the business development team to develop business cases and undertake other vital analyses to support decision making.
    • Manage and coordinate business development activities throughout the market (pitching, lead generation etc).
    • Identify appropriate customer groups to target; design optimal outreach strategies for prospects; identify appropriate and effective ways to position the Agency's services and value add.
    • Work with the business development and marketing team to develop, negotiate and win long-term profitable and sustainable business.

    Minimum Requirements

    • Minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
    • MBA or relevant Master's Degree would be an added advantage.
    • Minimum of ten (10) years of marketing experience with at least five years in a managerial capacity.
    • Professional certification in Marketing from a recognized body.
    • Experience in the health services industry would be an added advantage.
    • Strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
    • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, MS Word, PowerPoint, and MS project).
