JOB SUMMARY

• As a Market Operation Analyst at Vendease, you will be responsible for sourcing designated markets for high-quality food supplies and related products from suppliers.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Responsible for sourcing designated markets for high-quality food supplies and related products  from suppliers.
• Carry out daily procurement activities as assigned based on scheduled orders by the Market Operations team lead.
• Ensure timely and quality delivery to clients.
• Report status of all orders per time on Slack.
• Reconcile all orders from purchase- delivery information - GRN within 12 hours of delivery.
• Maintain good supplier relationships and update supplier information as required

JOB EXPERIENCE

• Minimum O’ levels
• Extensive experience working in Procurement or related fields.
• Working knowledge of the industry and market conditions
• Strong understanding of procurement and negotiation techniques
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong negotiation and conflict resolution skills
• Ability to navigate markets to meet suppliers as required.

JOB SUMMARY

• As a Procurement Associate at Vendease, you will be responsible for sourcing high-quality food supplies and related products from suppliers at reasonable prices and ensuring supply in good time.

JOB DESCRIPTION

• Execute procurement objectives to ensure continuity of supply, whilst ensuring minimum lead times and maximum business cost savings.
• Contribute to the preparation of inventory buying plans to guarantee supply efficiency
• Issue purchase orders and follow-up with invoices, delivery, credit negotiations, supplier invoices, claims, credit notes and logistics tracking
• Monitor market trends, price changes, forecast and initiate speedy ad hoc purchases where necessary.
• Ensure transparency, efficiency and accountability in all transactions conducted on behalf of the business
• Ensure timely deliveries of products within stipulated quality to the warehouse
• Track suppliers' performance to ensure the company's established SLA's for suppliers are met, including but not limited to delivery times, product quality, and prices.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to carry-out all procurement and contracting activities including pre-qualification, negotiation and drafting contracts.
• Ensure supplier satisfaction by maintaining good supplier relationships, keeping vital records and updating supplier information as required
• Ensure departmental objectives and company goals are met
• Advise senior management on strategy to improve overall procurement operational efficiency
• Ensure proper records are kept within the appropriate channels to guarantee seamless departmental operations
• Perform all other duties as directed by management 

JOB EXPERIENCE

• HND/BSc degree from a recognized institution
• Extensive experience working in Procurement or related fields. 
• Working knowledge of the industry 
• Strong understanding of procurement and negotiation techniques 
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
