    Machinery Engineer / Specialist II

    Job Description
    Main Functions:

    • Evaluate and comment on discipline engineering work performed both internally and by Contractors and sub-contractors to ensure that work is being executed in accordance with Company specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements.
    • Facilitates effective execution of discipline engineering and design routines that align with the team's goals, objectives, and procedures.
    • Assures accurate and timely communication among the team and other company Functions on discipline engineering activities, progress, and issues.
    • In addition to technical ability, they should demonstrate sound communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

    In addition to all Level 1 tasks, Level 2 will:

    • Work in a team environment with other engineering disciplines, operations and mechanical personnel
    • Proactively seek reliability improvements directed at increasing plant equipment uptime while reducing maintenance costs
    • Specify new rotating equipment to comply with industry and company design practices.
    • Ensure safe, cost effective, operable machinery and associated systems are provided and maintained to meet current business unit needs.

    Skills And Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related Engineering specialty, or equivalent professional experience
    • Strong knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria

    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
    • Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communications.

    Marine Lead III

    MAIN FUNCTIONS

    • Maintain/build/apply competency in specific area of Marine supervision and champion development of nationals. Identify and assist in resolving Marine Advisor resource gaps in Function.
    • Steward the development of core competencies in Marine discipline.
    • Administer personnel resources in Marine discipline.
    • Responsible for NPO marine vessel safety.
    • Provide expert Marine consultation to function and project teams.
    • Provide technical leadership for vulnerability and risk assessments.
    • Coordinate interface with JVO Marine Dept., EMDC and NPO organizations.
    • Assures accurate and timely communication among the team and other company Functions on discipline engineering activities, progress, and issues.
    • In addition to technical ability, they should demonstrate sound communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills.

    TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • In addition to all Level 1 and 2 tasks and responsibilities, Level 3:
    • Secure marine warranty surveyor services
    • Proactively manage NPO marine activities and vulnerabilities; develop and implement mitigation plans.
    • Identify and provide Functional and other Marine specialist resources to support installation teams.
    • Support Contractor Development Advisor in specific area of marine vessel contractors
    • Support (as requested) host country Content initiatives.
    • Support host country vessel contractor capacity assessment and improvement initiatives
    • Maintain current knowledge of marine vessel contractor capabilities.
    • Develop / action initiatives to improve performance level of marine vessel inspections / mooring activities.

    JOB REQUIREMENT

    • Bachelor’s/master’s degree in marine or civil Engineering or related engineering specialty, or equivalent professional experience
    • High level of marine vessel knowledge, skill, and experience
    • Experience to include Master of Towing, AHT and PSV Vessels, Shore Side Marine Operations in Management of Vessels, Knowledge of all IMO, and Class Requirements
    • Extensive knowledge of discipline design standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria
    • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs
    • Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communications.

    Logistics First Line Supervisor II

    Description

    • Logistics First Line Supervisor in Aviation, Marine, Shore Base, Ground Transport, Camp and Catering and does not represent any specific job description. Supervises employees, may include coordination of contractors, to deliver safe, reliable and profitable Logistics in assigned operating units (aviation, marine, shore base, ground transportation and camp services). Demonstrates applicable Logistic skills appropriate to job position.
    • Typical Job Positions may include: Logistics First Line Supervisor (FLS), Aviation FLS, Marine FLS (e.g., Supplier Relationship Management (SRM) Procurement Manager), Shore Base FLS, Ground Transport FLS and may cover some or all of the responsibilities listed below.

    Tasks and Responsibilities

    • In addition to all Level 1 tasks and responsibilities, a Level 2:
    • Oversee all logistics operations at DS1, DS2/CPF • On site contract representative for vehicle lease, in field logistics and infrastructure O&M contracts.
    • Conduct audits on contractor and own executed logistics operations, follow up and close out findings.
    • Provide transportation and lifting and hoisting support services to operations.
    • Oversee sling register.

    Skills and Qualifications

    • B.Sc in Engineering, Construction Management, or other Technical Degree.
    • Previous experience in a closely related position.
    • Behavioral Skills: effective communication, courage of conviction, sound decision-making, risk management.
    • Functional Skills: SSHE management - operations and maintenance, operations planning / improvement, maintenance management, logistics, general marine operations.
    • Demonstrates leadership, strong communication and interpersonal skills; able to network effectively across organizations.
    • Strong knowledge of logistics standards, specifications, codes, and appropriate safety criteria.
    • Broad Supply Chain knowledge.
    • Ability to adapt to tight deadlines, heavy workloads, and frequent changes in priorities.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of software programs.
    • Read, write, and speak fluent English, especially as it applies to technical and business communications.
