    Laundry Care Specialist

    Job Summary

    • As a Laundry Care Specialist, you will be responsible for the washing, drying, ironing, and folding of beddings, towels, guest garments etc. 
    • Your commitment to quality and efficiency will help us maintain the impeccable standards La Champagne Tropicana is known for.

    Responsibilities

    • Collect, sort, and wash laundry items, including linens, towels, uniforms, and guest clothing.
    • Operate washing machines, dryers, and pressing equipment safely and efficiently.
    • Inspect laundered items for cleanliness, stains, and damage; report or rewash as needed.
    • Fold, hang, and store clean laundry in designated areas.
    • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry room and equipment.
    • Track inventory levels of laundry supplies and report shortages to management.
    • Adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols.
    • Assist with special cleaning assignments as required.

    Qualifications

    • Interested candidates should possess an OND / HND / B.Sc Degree
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience in laundry services, preferably in a hotel or resort environment.
    • Basic knowledge of different fabrics and appropriate laundry techniques.
    • Ability to operate industrial laundry equipment.
    • Good physical stamina and attention to detail.
    • Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
    • Honest, reliable, and courteous demeanor.

    Account Officer

    Responsibilities

    • Financial Reporting: Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Budgeting and Forecasting: Develop and maintain budgets, forecasts, and financial models to support business planning and decision-making.
    • Accounts Management: Oversee accounts payable and receivable, ensuring accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and collections.
    • Bank Reconciliations: Conduct regular bank reconciliations to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial data.

    • Tax Compliance: Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and the timely filing of tax returns.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field with 2 - 5 years work experience.
    • Professional certification (e.g., ICAN, CPA, ACCA) is preferred; Candidates without these are encouraged to apply.
    • Proven experience as a financial accountant or similar role.
    • Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and tax regulations.
    • Proficiency in financial management software and MS Office (especially Excel).
    • Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus.
    • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong organizational and time management skills.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

    Qualifications and Requirements

    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s degree is a plus).
    • Minimum of 5 years of experience in accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
    • Professional certification (ACCA, ICAN, CPA) is required.
    • Strong knowledge of accounting software (QuickBooks, Sage, etc.) and Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
    • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks with attention to detail.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a team-oriented environment.
    • Experience in the hospitality industry is a plus.
