    Technical Business Development Manager

    Our client an "Investment and Advisory Firm" is looking to hire a Technical Business Development Manager whose primary responsibility is to capture the VOC (voice of customer), deliver world class technical and sales service to both existing and targeted new customers. The focus for this role is to identify target accounts/markets, cultivate customer relationships and drive profitable new business growth in a multi-channel strategy.    

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Develop and successfully execute sales strategies to exceed sales and profitability targets.
    • Redefine, build, manage and consistently track the pipeline of prospects/leads for timely conversion.
    • Support the development and implementation of strategic business plans for new and existing products and services.
    • Prepare annual business development plan for target market segments, which contribute to the company’s growth strategy with clearly defined targets and objectives.
    • Execute aggressive strategies and plans to successfully drive the product as the preferred customer selection.
    • Assist in articulating product message, coordinate technical resources and hands off deals to a successful close.
    • Manage customer relations and ensure customer satisfaction, repeat business and referral opportunities.
    • Keep abreast of trends and changes in the business world including knowledge of competitors.
    • Attend periodic meetings with corporate and personal clients, to discuss financial requirements and provide appropriate financial advice.
    • Prepare market analysis and market intelligence gathering to develop plans and strategies to locate and develop potential sales partners.
    • Build business development plans containing product strategy, go-to-market plans, price & product positioning for each of the products within the product portfolio.
    • Acquire new customers, account management and fostering relationships with key stakeholders. 

     

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, and any related course. MBA or post graduate qualification is an added advantage.
    • Minimum of five years’ experience in a BD manager role in a Fintech space preferred.

    Business Development Manager, Investment

    Our Client an "Investment and Advisory Firm" is looking to hire a Business Development Manager (BDM), Investmentwho will be responsible for building and managing rapport with corporate clients to ensure optimum client acquisition, retention, and income generation from sales of all appropriate investment products of the company. The role will require building ‘Best in class’s relationship management while strengthening the company’s brand in the corporate space, ensuring delivery of industry-leading client experience, and advisory service to new and existing corporate clients. In this role, the Business Development Manager will report directly to the Head of Investments and will be responsible for managing Business development analysts within the team.

    Primary Responsibilities

    • Expand and retain corporate client relationships to grow Assets Under Management (AUM)
    • Develop leads and referrals from current clients and other networks.
    • Identify and aggressively grow the target pipeline within the identified sectors.
    • Manage key client relationships through regular contacts and visits by ensuring the effective call program is maintained on all assigned and prospect clients.
    • Cultivate good rapport with corporate clients and ensure Sankore becomes the choice of investment.
    • Coordinate with Fund Managers on investment policy statement (IPS) with each client based on their goals, objectives, and risk tolerance.
    • Ensure compliance to Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti Money laundering (AML) requirements in all dealings with existing and potential clients.
    • Continuously identify and exploit cross selling opportunities that embed the company and its products with clients’ needs.
    • Attend periodic meetings with corporate and personal clients, to discuss financial requirements and provide appropriate financial advice

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Economics, or a similar course of study from a reputable university.
    • 10 - 12 years of work experience in Corporate or Investment Banking. 
    • A Masters’ degree, MBA, CFA, or other relevant post graduate qualifications is an added advantage.
    • Strong experience managing the needs of Corporate Companies.

    Investment Risk Manager

    Our client an " Investment and Advisory Firm" is looking to hire an Investment Risk Manager who will be responsible for the risk management program of the organization. The responsibilities include facilitating the identification of risks throughout the organization, developing, reporting, and monitoring formats on risk management issues and developing methodologies for the assessment of risks throughout the organization. 

    Responsibilities

    • Analyze data to better understand potential risks, concerns, and outcomes of decisions with the investment team.
    • Assist to meet the financial goals of the portfolios under management.
    • Come up with the solutions and/or contingency plans to reduce risks.
    • Analyze and anticipate market trends in the business market and come up with suitable strategies and recommend precautionary or improvement measures.
    • Build and maintain good knowledge of the company's investment management products and investment processes.
    • Create and improve on tools for identifying, measuring, monitoring, controlling, and reporting risk exposures.
