    Purchasing Officer

    JOB SUMMARY 

    Purchasers, also known as purchasing agents, purchase tools, supplies, equipment, and/or parts from various vendors and suppliers. Purchasers work independently in a highly collaborative environment that requires frequent communication and may travel to the warehouse and storage areas within the company to complete their usual job tasks. 

    Responsibilities: 

    • Write Purchase Orders: Purchasers purchase items from vendors and suppliers, filling out all necessary purchase orders. 
    • Distribute Supplies to the Cafe and Production house. 
    • Must Update Expense sheet regularly 
    • Monthly price comparison to ensure the company gets the best deals. 
    • Shop: Purchasers shop for the best available deals on needed items by looking up prices from multiple vendors and suppliers to find the highest-quality items for the lowest price.
    • Process Orders: Purchasers process purchase orders, updating digital files as needed to record purchases made, when money has been received, and all other relevant information.
    • Monitor Inventory: Purchasers monitor and maintain inventory levels, ordering new items as needed to keep the inventory fully stocked and supplied. 
    • Ensure Delivery: Purchasers ensure that purchased orders are delivered by coordinating with warehouse and transport staff. 
    • Negotiate: Purchasers negotiate new contracts with existing and new vendors and suppliers.
    • Manage Relationships: Purchasers locate new vendors and establish working relationships with them. They also maintain existing vendor and supplier relationships. 

    Purchaser Skills and Qualifications 

    Purchasers collaborate with other members of the supply chain, ensuring that purchases arrive in a timely fashion precisely as ordered to keep inventories well stocked. 

    Skill Requirements: 

    • Leadership – to work closely with warehouse staff and other staff members within the company, ensuring they are managing purchases properly on their end of the supply chain
    • Communication – purchasers work in a collaborative environment that requires coordination with other departments and negotiation with vendors 
    • Computer skills – to keep digital files updated and manage purchase orders
    • Multi-tasking – to manage multiple duties and responsibilities at once
    • Organization – to maintain purchase order paperwork and digital files, monitor inventory systems, and ensure deliveries 
    • Detail-oriented – to find the best rates for purchased items and maintain inventory levels

    Social Media Manager

    JOB DESCRIPTION
    Cafeteria NG seeks a dynamic Social Media Manager to oversee social media communications and awareness for the restaurants. The candidate’s primary experience must be 2-4 years
    experience in the social media field, with knowledge of food/lifestyle media, and fine dining restaurants. He/She should also have Technical education and qualifications in camera and video work.
    Candidates should be comfortable spending time in restaurants capturing content and extracting information for social media as well as other promotional purposes. Also, he/she Must be well-versed in multiple digital platforms (graphic design, photo/video editing, and social media management ); basic design capabilities are a must.
    Must be a great writer, able to manage deadlines and projects, and excited to wear many hats within a fast-paced, growing restaurant group.
    Applicants must have a portfolio of prior work.
    ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

    • In conjunction with Cafeteria Management, candidates will set social media strategy and guide content creation for the Cafe.
    • Act as copywriter for social media messaging, and assist as necessary, with internal and external communications, including restaurant openings, brand creative briefs, press kits, website assets, and maintain press clips.
    • Manage and execute social media work with restaurants to capture creative content on an almost daily basis, and post in the style and voice of the restaurant. Photography and video skills required.
    • Audit and keep up-to-date internal/external digital presences.
    • Drive Awareness of all restaurant products via Websites, Social Media, In-Store Collateral, and marketing initiatives.
    • Post timely and relevant photos, stories, etc. in conjunction with the store and home office teams to proactively keep each brand, venue, & event top of mind.
    • Creating & promoting positive relationships, reviewing and managing online reputations, and aiding in promoting a positive culture.
    • Drive Sales & marketing initiatives to increase Restaurant, private dining and event Revenue. Promote all aspects of the operation via Grassroots marketing, Social Media, Events, Partnerships, initiatives, community relations, and outreach.
    • Observe trends and stay current; presenting new thoughts and ideas to the team,
    • resulting in compelling and thoughtful experiences for our guests.
    • Collaborate with leadership to promote and uphold standards ensuring adherence and consistency in all areas and Provide guidance to the team to achieve a consistent culture that represents our brand appropriately.

    Social Media Manager Requirements

    • Proven work experience as a Social media manager
    • Hands on experience in content management
    • Excellent copywriting skills
    • Ability to deliver creative content (text, image and video)
    • Solid knowledge of SEO, keyword research and Google Analytics
    • Knowledge of online marketing channels
    • Familiarity with web design
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Analytical and multitasking skills
    • BSc degree in Marketing or relevant field
    • Ability to Drive Sales and Brand Awareness
    • Team Player
    • 2 -4 Years of Social Media Experience
