    Menswear Consultant

    A Fashion House is looking to hire a Menswear Consultant
    Job Overview

    As a Menswear Consultant you are to consult with prospective and active clients. Offer professional fashion advice and recommendations as well as take measurements and handle fittings. You are charged with making sure the client is satisfied with the fitting and design of their clothes according to what thw Business offers. You will be accountable and responsible for  timelines, packaging and production periods with adequate followup end to end (customer and inhouse).

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Liaise with the Client and Pattern/Production Manager to discuss base designs to create blueprints.
    • Provide Fashion Consultations (Internally & Externally) to all Prospective and Active Clients (Fabric,TimeLine, Style and Trims)
    • Followup on all Packaging and Production for clients
    • Report to Client Services and Operational Manager on production process, fittings and any other issues that may arise
    • Work with Stock Manager and Production Manager to ensure all materials required for Production and available and understood and completed.
    • Perform Fittings for all customers
    • Managing design process from conception through to final stage.
    • Ensuring product is in agreement with business strategy
    • Work with Creative Director as required

    Qualifications

    • BSc or BA in Any Science or Arts Degree ( A degree in Fashion Design is a plus).
    • 2+ years proven experience as a Menswear Fashion Designer or Consultant
    • Fashion Enthusiast/ Excellent knowledge of Fashion
    • Great Communication and Emotional Intelligence Skills.
    • Great Customer Relationship
    • Excellent Sales skills with ability to close a deal on a Lead/Prospective Customer
    • Detail oriented.
    • Ability to work to a deadline.
    • Physically fit and ability to stand for long periods.
    • Ability to  work with a team.
    • Good use of computers and MS Office.

    Assistant Fashion Designer (Womenswear)

    A Fashion House is looking to hire an Assistant Fashion Designer (Womenswear)

    Job Overview

    As an Assistant Fashion Designer for the Womenswear line, you are to consult with prospective and active clients. Offer professional fashion advice and recommendations as well as take measurements and handle fittings. You are charged with making sure the client is satisfied with the fitting and design of their clothes according to what the Business offers. You will be accountable and responsible for  timelines, packaging and production periods with adequate followup end to end (customer and inhouse). You will spot trends, capture the the times and seasons in your creations with the Creative Director and display business acumen in your ability to apply product strategy.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Liaise with the Client and Pattern/Production Manager to discuss base designs to create blueprints.
    • Provide Fashion Consultations (Internally & Externally) to all Prospective and Active Clients (Fabric,TimeLine, Style and Trims)
    • Followup on all Packaging and Production for clients

    • Assist Creative Director to select seasonal themes, make edits to line, and create new concepts.

    Qualifications

    • BSc or BA in Any Science or Arts Degree ( A degree in Fashion Design is a plus).
    • 2+ years proven experience as a Menswear Fashion Designer or Consultant
    • Fashion Enthusiast/ Excellent knowledge of Fashion
    • Great Communication and Emotional Intelligence Skills.
    • Great Customer Relationship
    • Excellent Sales skills with ability to close a deal on a Lead/Prospective Customer

    Patter and Production Manager

    A Fashion House is looking to hire a Pattern Maker/Production Manager

    Job Overview

    As a Pattern maker, you are to create templates that are used to massproduce clothing's.You will translate blueprints and design models into factory patterns using drafting software or freehand measurement techniques. As a Production Manager, you are to supervise and manage the tailors and are responsible for the timeline, quality, and volume of products ensuring they conform to high standards. You will work handinhand with the Designer and Consultants to ensure that all clothing's are made according to client’s timeline, specification and needs.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Liaise with the Designer and Consultant to discuss base designs to create blueprints.
    • Creating rough draft templates using either a computer drafting software and hand techniques.
    • Measuring, cutting and designing patters on the fabric required.
    • Working with the Stock Manager on availability of items necessary for production.
    • Supervising tailors to ensure accurate production of all clothing’s according to timeline, needs and specification.
    • Ensure durability and standardization of all products.
    • Oversee all production and curtail unnecessary wastage.
    • Ensure all materials are organized at each stage of production and processing.
    • Reduction of flaws in designs.
    • Oversee maintenance and cleanliness of production rooms.
    • Ensure discipline among the tailors.
    • Meeting with Designer’s and Consultant’s to review final products and fittings.
    • Reporting to the Client Service and Operations Manager on final production

    Qualifications

    • BSc or BA in Any Science or Arts Degree ( A degree in Fashion Design is a plus).
    • 2+ years proven experience as a pattern maker for menswear and womenswear.Good knowledge of Fashion
    • Use of Computer Drafting Software I.e CAD. (Tech pack) is a plus.
    • Great Communication and Emotional Intelligence Skills.
    • Detail oriented.
    • Ability to work to a deadline.
    • Physically fit and ability to stand for long periods.
    • Ability to lead a team and work with a team.
    • Relevant Certifications in Pattern Drafting is a plus
    • Excellent motor skills with experience using measuring, snipping, milling and cutting tools.
    • Good use of computers and MS Office.

    Client Services and Operations Manager

    A Fashion House is looking to hire a Client Service and Operations Manager

    Job Overview

    As a Client Service Manager, you are responsible for endtoend management of the clientele. From first consultation to production of final clothing, you are to be in constant communication with the client on every stage of production. You will work with the team (Menswear Consultant, Asst. Fashion Designer Womenswear and Pattern/Production Manager) to produce clothing’s according to high standard and quality.

    Responsibilities and Duties

    • Attend to all client orders
    • Liaise with the Designer and Consultant to discuss designs and Clients needs.
    • Work with Finance Director to create invoices in line with client orders.
    • Provide weekly report and analysis on all productions and activities to the Creative Director.
    • Manage processes and procedures to achieve high levels of productivity.
    • Manage Team member's to produce results and provide seamless customer experience.
    • Ensure standardization of all products.
    • Monitor production planning process and ensure key performance indicators (KPIs) are in place and production targets are met.
    • Work with Stock Manager to create budget and financial analysis.
    • Ensure all materials are organized at each stage of production and processing.
    • Communicate with the client and maintain feedback loop for all designs
    • Liaise with Finance Director to manage all operational needs
    • Ensure discipline among team members and tailors inclusive
    • Hold weekly team meetings (Beginning and End of week) to cover grounds on all activities
    • Hold Meetings with the Client alongside the Designer and/or Consultant to review final products and fittings.

    Qualifications

    • BSc or BA in Management, Accounting or other relevant degrees.
    • Good Knowledge or Enthusiasm about Fashion
    • 3+ years proven experience in administration and operational activities.
    • Sound knowledge of data analysis
    • Proven use of CRM’s
    • Proven use of Computer Information Systems.
    • Ability to create detailed reports.
    • Great Communication and Emotional Intelligence Skills.
    • Detail oriented.
    • Ability to work to a deadline.
    • Ability to lead a team and work with a team.
    • Good use of computers and MS Office.
