Role Overview 

• The Head of IT Security will lead the organization’s cybersecurity strategy, ensuring the protection of digital assets, systems, and infrastructure from cyber threats. The role is responsible for establishing security policies, managing risk, overseeing compliance, and leading the IT security team to maintain a secure technology environment.

 Key Responsibilities 

• Develop and implement the organization’s IT security strategy, policies, and frameworks.
• Lead security risk assessments, vulnerability management, and threat monitoring.
• Ensure compliance with information security standards, regulatory requirements, and internal policies.
• Oversee incident response and cyber threat mitigation.
• Manage security tools including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, endpoint protection, and SIEM solutions.
• Conduct security audits and penetration testing to identify vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with IT teams to integrate security into infrastructure, applications, and network architecture.
• Lead and mentor the IT security team.
• Provide regular security reports and risk insights to senior management.

 Qualifications 

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
• Professional certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, or CompTIA Security+ will be an added advantage.

Experience

• Minimum 8–12 years experience in IT Security or Information Security roles.
• Proven experience managing security frameworks, risk assessments, and compliance programs.

Age Requirement

• Applicants must not be more than 48 years old.

• Candidates with 3rd Class Bachelor’s Degree are not acceptable.
• Candidates with Pass grades for HND/OND are not acceptable.
• Part-time degrees are not acceptable.
• Degrees from open universities or unaccredited institutions (e.g., Benin Republic) are not acceptable.
• Candidates whose stay in organizations is 2 years and below are not acceptable (rolling employment history).
• Strict adherence to relevant IT Security/Information Technology disciplines.

• The IT Security Analyst is responsible for monitoring and protecting the organization’s information systems against cyber threats. The role involves identifying vulnerabilities, responding to security incidents, and supporting the implementation of cybersecurity policies and controls.

Key Responsibilities

• Monitor security systems and detect potential cyber threats or vulnerabilities.
• Perform security assessments and vulnerability scans.
• Support the implementation of IT security policies and procedures.
• Investigate and respond to security incidents and breaches.
• Maintain security logs and prepare incident reports.
• Support network security and endpoint protection initiatives.
• Work with IT teams to ensure secure system configurations and updates.
• Participate in security awareness and compliance programs.

Qualifications

• B.Sc. in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.

Experience

• Minimum 3–5 years experience in IT Security, Cybersecurity, or Information Security.

Age Requirement

• Applicants must not be more than 38 years old.
