Job Purpose

• Assists in managing the design, delivery and support for data networks, LAN/WAN
• Assists in the implementation and administration of networks, communication and all equipment pertaining to.

Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities

• Assists in managing the Cisco and related telecoms issues and infrastructure in branch and campus locations
• Supports network/communications related incidents assigned by the help desk/user support officers
• Assist in the configuration and installation of Cisco routers and switches
• Monitor all branch links to ensure availability is in line with agreed SLAs
• Follow up on all data communications transactions with consultants and liaise with vendors on network related issues.

Preferred Qualification and Experience
Qualifications and Experience:

• Minimum of first degree or its equivalent in IT related degree(s)
• Professional qualification such as CCNA, CCNP would be an added advantage
• Minimum of 4 years relevant experience in Network Administration

Job Purpose

• Second level certification (CCBA) – Certification of Capability in Business Analysis: for business analysts with 3 years and below work experience in the field of business analysis
• Third level certification (CBAP) – Certified Business Analysis Professional: for business analysts with above 3 years work experience in the field of business analysis.
• Minimum of 2 years experience working in a mixed technical and business environment.
• Minimum of 2 years experience documenting business processes and models. Knowledge of the Solution Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and experience with the Waterfall and Agile project implementation approach
• Minimum of 2 years experience working with productivity suits such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Project and Visio. Experience producing wire frames. Responsive prototypes is an added advantage.

Job Purpose

• Responsible for performing security monitoring and incident handling to ensure the Confidentiality, Integrity and Availability of information assets for the Standard Bank Group.

Key Responsibilities
Engagement:

• Partner with relevant stakeholders to maintain and improve the security posture of Business and IT.
• Develop appropriate measures to understand the effectiveness of securing the bank through the availability of systems.

Service Delivery:

• Perform monitoring via the Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) tool as well as from external sources (e.g. telephone or email).
• Report on false positives and escalate those to the Lead Analyst for verification.
• Undertake incident analysis, tracking, recording, and response.
• Work with or assist other Cyber Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT) members in analysis activities.
• Report new attack types or suspicious activity to the Lead Analyst.
• Update the Case Management tools with evidence trails of all analysed incidents.
• Document results of incidents.
• Escalate and provide feedback on incidents as per Incident Handling Classification Standard and process.
• Provide support to Lead Analyst and coordinate activities in support of Incident Containment.
• Interact with the CSIRT team by assignment from Lead Analyst or Manager of Cyber Security Operations Centre. 

Mitigation of Risk:

• Continuously report on incidents identified via the SIEM.
• Spot patterns across a number of systems to provide advanced warning on new threats.
• Have an in-depth knowledge of Stanbic IBTC’s policies, procedures, or overall IT environment. Adherence to all applicable Policies and Procedures is mandatory.

Reporting:

• Ad- hoc compilation and submission of M.I.S reports.
• Security incidents reporting

Qualifications

• First Degree IT and Computer Sciences
• MCSE / CISA / CISM / CISSP etc would be beneficial

Experience:

• 3-4 Years experience in Configuration, optimization and security monitoring of incident handling to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information assets
• 1-2 Years Experience in TCP/IP, HTTP, network access controls, security principles
• Proven ability in the incident management and software development lifecycles

Knowledge/Technical Skills/Expertise:

• Understanding of the CSOC and CSIRT objectives and requirements.
• Working knowledge of the IT and IT Security field including TCP/IP, HTTP, encryption, network access controls, intrusion detection and prevention systems.
• Working knowledge of relevant Operating Systems.
• Demonstrate knowledge of standards associated with the role, e.g. ISO, CobiT, ITIL.
• Understanding of incident management and case management technologies (ticketing systems).

Job Purpose

• To provide an operational User, Branch Support & Rollout (UBSR) structure to ensure that general IT problem in the branches and regions are resolved promptly and efficiently. The operational support includes first & second level support on user’s workstations, file/print servers, IT peripherals, SCCM servers, LANs and communication equipment.
• Ensuring that all incidents are responded to, actioned and resolved within the required MTTR in the SLAs. Also ensure that calls and problems are escalated and communicated to the required support area and user for prompt attention.
• Provide high level competency with regard to ensuring that users are optimally satisfied with the use and access of the bank’s IT services/applications in the daily discharge of their responsibilities.
• Uptime of SCCM servers and patching of all laptops and Desktops

• Achieve a minimum annual Business Survey (i.e ISS) rating of 8 out of 10
• Ensure not more than 5 significant incidents occur every week
• Achieve an IT User Survey score of 7 out of 10
• Ensure closure time within 90% of agreed SLA for significant and general complaints
• Ensure service availability meets agreed targets
•  Achieve a Remedy satisfaction survey rating of 3.5 out of 5

• Score 90% on post implementation survey (conducted within a minimum of 3 months after project closure)
• Respond within 24hours to engage relevant parties once a work request is raised
