RESPONSIBILITIES

• Ensure implementation of accounting standards, policies & to ensure nancial compliance and eciency at all times.
• Provision of accurate quantitative information on nancial position, liquidity and cash ows of the business on a weekly basis in the form of a business snapshot
• Manage the entire accounting workow from invoicing to reporting, with activities not limited to; accounts payable and receivable, reconcile statements, and maintain accurate records of all nancial transactions.
• Prepare budgets and carry out variance analysis monthly.
• Preparation of and interpretation of monthly, quarterly and annual management reports for use by the relevant stakeholders.
• Cash Management Activities including cash and banking management
• Computing, ling and remitting taxes and other nancial obligations and ensuring the company is compliant with federal and state regulations
• Thoroughly scrutinize source documents relating to bills and purchases, ensuring every expenditure has a backup document and with easily located paper trail.
• Audit nancial transactions from time to time and be audit ready in-turn.
• Ensuring that the accounting software used by the company is accurate at all times and free from errors or mumbled up charts of accounts.
• Must continue to adapt to and ready to implement innovative processes to improve eciency in nancial operations.
• Determine ways to manage costs and improve protability
• Identify nancial loopholes and share risk aversion methods and cost savings
• Other related duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Accounting. Finance or a related eld may be considered
• Very experienced in bookkeeping
• Minimum years of experience in an accounting role, preferably in the design, architecture, manufacturing or construction industries.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks, Zoho, Sage
• Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
• Must be pursuing professional accounting designation, most preferably, already an ATS(or equivalent) Certication is mandatory.
• Thorough knowledge of state and federal tax and other accounting laws, and must be current in the accounting community

QUALIFICATIONS

• A minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance or a related eld is required.
• Minimum 7 years of experience in a Lead Financial/Accounting role, preferably in the design, architecture, or construction industries.
• Hands-on experience with accounting software like QuickBooks
• Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables
• Full ICAN/ACCA/Other Relevant Certication is mandatory.
• Thorough knowledge of strategy, tax and other accounting procedures and a sound judgement.
