    Job Summary

    • A Pharmacologist is a scientist who studies the effects of drugs and other chemical substances on biological systems.
    • They conduct research to develop and test new medications, improve existing treatments, and ensure drug safety and efficacy.

    Responsibilities

    • Conduct laboratory and clinical research on drugs and their interactions with biological systems.
    • Develop and test new pharmaceuticals to treat diseases and medical conditions.
    • Analyze the safety, effectiveness, and side effects of drugs.
    • Work with medical professionals, chemists, and regulatory agencies to ensure compliance with drug regulations.
    • Perform experiments to study drug absorption, metabolism, and excretion.

    Education, Experience and Qualification
