What You’ll do

• Identify product gaps through continuous market and customer research
• Generate ideas that create new products and optimize existing products based on customer and market needs

Product Manager

We’re looking for an experienced Product Manager to join our growing team. As a Product Manager at Prospa, you will be directly responsible for developing and launching products and features that our Members love, from the idea stage through customer reception. The ideal candidate is creative, data-driven and passionate about building products that align with our Company vision and strategy.

What You’ll do

• Identify product gaps through continuous market and customer research

• Create an end-to-end product strategy (short and long-term) that highlights the product's vision and strategic direction 
• Prioritize feature implementations by ranking them against the strategic goals and initiatives
• Creating and updating your product roadmap detailing the project requirements and how they will be achieved
• Develop strategic and data-driven product pricing and positioning strategies
• Work closely with the engineering team to deliver prototypes and final products with efficiency, accuracy and speed
• Team up with the Growth team to deliver successful product launches that are in alignment with product strategy

The Role

As a mobile engineer you will help us: 

• Design and implement new features with React Native for iOS and Android
• Research and implement new technologies and solutions
• Produce high-level technical documentation

The skill set

• 3 years minimum developing mobile applications for iOS and Android
• Deep knowledge of the iOS and Android Guidelines
• Solid understanding of the mobile development workflow and processes
• Must have a deep understanding of ReactNative, Javascript and CSS 
• Basic knowledge of mobile programming languages: Java, Kotlin, Swift
• Must have built awesome mobile applications before that had live active users
• Very good understanding of Styling and Redux
• Understanding of Xcode for IOS development
• Code beautiful user interfaces with smooth user experience
• Knowledge of technological trends
• Excellent communication skills
• Problem-solving aptitude

What you’ll do

• Write clean, testable code using .NET programming languages and frameworks

What you’ll need

• Experience working with NIBSS/Implementing a NIBSS project
• Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics / Electrical Engineering (or equivalent experience)
• 5+ years of relevant experience in developing .NET applications, a strong background in object-oriented development techniques and experience in .NET languages (C#, Visual .NETJava, or Python).
• Experience with REST APIs, WebAPIs, Web services & Optimizing SQL Queries
• Experience in working on data management and data-focused projects
• Experience implementing automated testing platforms
• Exposure to the fintech environment
• Self-motivated with ability to oversee and drive projects forward, meet deadlines independently and as part of a team. 
• Excellent problem solving, critical thinking skills, and communication skills

Preferred skills

• Understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies (proficient understanding and use of Jira)
• Strong knowledge of relational databases and MS SQL databases
• Experience designing and implementing modern data architectures

Engineering Manager

We are looking for a talented Engineering manager to join our team. As a technical expert, you'll not only provide technical oversight and leadership to major projects, but also act as a functional manager. Owning the product and solution architecture, the role will place a key focus on quality control and code optimisation. You will champion and influence best practices, and help ensure these are followed across the company.

As a functional manager, your role will also include optimising and reviewing the performance of teams, with an aim to increase the quality of engineering as a functional leader. To help us scale our engineering teams effectively, you will have close involvement with our hiring process.

• Experience building and scaling high achieving engineering teams
• Big picture thinking - correctly diagnosing problems and building innovative solutions
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to partner closely with Product Owners and Business Heads
