WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Responsible for electing and facilitating the purchase of Direct Material in PVM Nigeria and ensure company meet it production objective.
• Identifying and reviewing prospective supplier based on quality and reliability.
• Engage and negotiate directly with supplier to negotiate pricing, payment term, delivery schedule and contract detail.
• Drafting and managing supplier’ contract and ensure contract always remain valid.
• Establishing and enduring quality standard from supplier.
• Drafting and managing supplier’ contract, ensuring compliance with agreed term and condition.
• Maintain ethical relationship with supplier.
• Identifying cost-saving opportunities through volume discount, effective negotiation and exploring alternate sourcing.

OUR PERFECT CANDIDATE

• Hold Bc or HND in Engineering, Numeric related study or social science.
• Certification in CM, Mater’ degree or MBA will be an added advantage.
• Proven work experience of between 5 – 8 year within Food & Beverage Industry.
• Excellent negotiation kill.
• Excellent verbal and written communication kill
• Strong prioritization kill.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

• Perform troubleshooting and maintenance necessary to keep observing instruments operating at their peak efficiency on a daily basis.
• Must be able to inspect, tests, detect abnormal fluctuations, adjust and repair instruments used for measuring and indicating pressure, temperature etc.
• Must be able to test accuracy of measuring instruments, controllers and other recording, indicating or controlling instruments to locate defective components in system.
• Initiate, own and assist with the resolution of RCAs (Root Cause Analyses) and completion of resulting actions.
• Prepares schematic drawings, sketches, and reports to reflect changes or alterations made in instruments, circuits and systems.
• Keep supervisor informed on progress on assigned tasks, problems and concerns related to the instrumentation; provide status reports as required and accept priorities as assigned.
• Collaborate with plant technicians to create efficient, effective and unified work environment based on the principles of teamwork and mutual responsibility for shared objectives.                                                            
• Ensure awareness, understanding and application of QHSE policy on assigned
