Position Overview:

• We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented IT Administrator & Cybersecurity Associate Intern to join our team. In this dual role, you will gain hands-on experience in IT management while supporting our cybersecurity initiatives. The ideal candidate is enthusiastic about technology, eager to learn, and interested in safeguarding our digital assets.

Responsibilities:

IT Administration:

• Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of IT systems and networks.
• Support troubleshooting and resolve hardware and software issues for staff.
• Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls across systems.
• Monitor system performance and implement necessary updates and patches.
• Maintain documentation of IT processes, configurations, and user manuals.

Cybersecurity:

• Assist in monitoring security incidents and analyzing potential threats.
• Support the implementation of security measures and protocols to protect sensitive data.
• Participate in vulnerability assessments and risk analysis.
• Help maintain compliance with security policies and regulations.
• Contribute to employee training on cybersecurity awareness and best practices.

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, or a related field
• Basic understanding of IT administration concepts, including networking and system management
• Familiarity with cybersecurity principles, tools, and frameworks is a plus
• Knowledge of programming languages or scripting (Python, Bash, etc.) is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Eagerness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the design and implementation of CI/CD pipelines.
• Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
• Manage cloud infrastructure and services, ensuring high availability and scalability.
• Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues in production environments.
• Automate manual processes using scripting languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
• Maintain documentation for infrastructure, processes, and procedures.
• Participate in on-call rotations and incident response activities.
• Continuously explore and implement new tools and technologies to improve efficiency.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
• Basic understanding of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash, Java).
• Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).
• Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to learn new technologies.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Internship or project experience in a DevOps or related role.
• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack).
• Experience with Agile methodologies.
