Job Summary

• We are seeking a qualified and experienced Economics Teacher to join our team.

Responsibilities

• Teach Economics to students in Key Stages 3-5 (ages 11-18)
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to promote student learning and achievement
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum and instructional strategies

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Economics or a related field
• Minimum of 4 years teaching experience in an international school
• IGCSE certification is an added advantage
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to adapt to a diverse and multicultural environment.

Responsibilities

• Teach Accounting to secondary school students
• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans
• Assess and evaluate student progress
• Prepare students for external exams (e.g. WAEC, NECO)
• Maintain accurate records and reports

Requirements & Qualities

• BSc in Accounting or related field
• Teaching certification (TRCN, IGCSE)
• Proven experience teaching Accounting in a secondary school setting
• Strong knowledge of the Nigerian/British curriculum
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills
• Passion for teaching and learning
• Ability to adapt to diverse learning needs
• Strong work ethic and commitment to student success
