Job Description

• The Account Executive at Microsoft leads our most valued customers into the digital age. Embracing a challenger mindset, the successful Account Executive manages, orchestrates and leads their virtual teams and closes opportunities with customers that produce transformative business outcomes.

Responsibilities
The Account Executive will be responsible for the following:

• Business Relationship Owner: Build coalition of support (IT and business) with customer. Define specific business outcomes.
• Team Mobilizer and Orchestrator: Mobilize the entire account team and direct clear opportunity ownership in strong collaboration with partners.
• Digital Transformation Leader and Operational Excellence: Lead, drive and manage opportunities for each of the 4 Digital Transformation pillars and 4 Solution Areas. Consistent, repeatable achievement of revenue and consumption targets.

Qualifications
Experiences Required: Education, Key Experiences, Skills and Knowledge:

• 5+ years of consultative selling & technical selling to or consulting with enterprise customers. Equally considered will be 3+ years of experience driving digital transformation from within the enterprise customers
• 10 years overall relevant working experience
• Digital transformation - 3 years
• Min 5 years in solution selling
• 5 years sales and account management experience
• Has managed large quota and has experience in managing cross industry accounts
• Solid knowledge of one industry required (i.e. Government, Education, Healthcare, Financial Services, Retail, Manufacturing, Automotive, Telco, Media, Oil/Gas/Energy, etc.)
• Bachelor's degree or MBA preferred; or equivalent experience
• Experience to lead multi-cultural, diverse and remote teams across different disciplines
• Proven ability to understand customer needs, create and deliver customized, customer-focused pitches and solutions
• Effectively navigate through ambiguity and complexities related to client management
• Embody “we-before-me” mindset.

Responsibilities
We are developing many new cloud services using AI and machine perception to enable rich, cross-platform Mixed Reality experiences. We’re a growing team of hardworking engineers putting technology on a human path across all devices. As a member of our team:

• You will deliver high-quality code components that will power the services, servers, distributed systems, networking and back-end architecture for our products
• You will play multiple, often divergent roles to ensure the success of our newly built engineering team
• You will work with industry-leading scientists and engineers to bring the latest AI, Machine Learning and Computer vision capabilities to the cloud

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in Software Engineering
• Experience building, releasing, and supporting applications or services in a modern programming language using a common application or services stack
• Experience shipping cloud services, networked applications or distributed systems
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Experience working with distributed engineering teams
• Proven track record working with concurrent programming concepts like asynchronous operations, distributed consensus and parallelismpreferred but not required
• Experience with Kubernetes & Golang preferred but not required.
