    Extra Low Voltage (ELV) Design Engineer

    Job Role
    Proficient in ELVS designs from conceptual all through to detailed engineering for systems involving:

    • Fire Detection and Alarm Systems
    • Public Address and Voice Evacuation Systems
    • CCTV
    • Access Control (Automatic Door and Entrance Automation Systems), VESDA, Parking Management System
    • Data Centre design
    • Water Leak Detection system, Intrusion Detection System.
    • Gas detection and Control Systems
    • Building Automation and Building Management Systems.
    • In depth understanding of Client’s briefs and particular requirements and integration into systems design.
    • Development of relevant Technical specifications, scoping of work packages
    • Tendering documents review and analysis.
    • Preparation of Technical Datasheets/ Specifications, Control schematics, Development of systems Architecture.
    • Preparation of Bill of Quantities with necessary quantity break-up. Preparation of BMS IO summary.
    • Preparation of Project Budgetary cost.
    • Coordinate site inspection for data gathering or technical evaluation.
    • Responsible for the design review of the IT, Telecom, ELV, Security and Fire Alarm services and all ELVS systems.
    • Participation in design review meetings and workshops.
    • Preparation of meeting records, design and design progress reports.
    • Liaise with Local suppliers / Contractors to ensure adherence to standards and scope of works required by client.
    • Identify and develop relations with vendors.
    • Validate & checking of all relevant submittals during projects implementation.
    • Other duties as assigned.

    Education, Experience & Certifications

    • Bachelor's Degree BS from accredited university in Electronics and Communication Engineering or Computer Engineering.
    • 2 to 3 years’ relevant experience in CCTV, Access Control, Gate Barriers, Intercoms, Time attendance and Parking Management Systems, VMS, Intermediate Structured Cabling and Basic Networking.
    • Certification in any Physical Security system, but preferably Video Security Certification by NICET or BICSI.
    • Implementation experience in basic networking and structured cabling implementation, including installation, configuration and troubleshooting.
    • Knowledge and experience in Network related issues is a plus.
    • Proficiency in AUTOCAD and Microsoft packages.

    Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) Design Engineer

    Job Description

    • HVAC design engineers create and develop refrigeration and heating systems for commercial and residential properties.
    • HVAC design engineers report to the project manager or Design Team Lead.
    • HVAC design engineers must go to various construction sites and properties to assess heating and cooling needs and design various systems to address these needs.

    Job Responsibilities

    • Create HVAC engineering design; proficiency in equipment selection, load calculation, capacity sizing etc
    • Create drawing specification on each service such as HVAC & other services based on client requirement and industry standard
    • Design and drafting of piped system: cold and hot water supply system
    • Proffering solutions to client specific situations in terms of design
    • Review shop drawings and contractor submittals for conformance with project requirements.
    • Complete field observations at appropriate intervals to review status and compliance of installed work.
    • Report to the Team Lead &Managing Partner of the company depending on task at hand.
    • Provide Mechanical and Electrical inspection, troubleshooting and evaluation services
    • Coordinate all technical issues within and around the Project
    • Represent the company on all meetings and requests by the client
    • Prepare conceptual designs, working and As-Built Drawings for projects engaged by the company.
    • Manage and maintain client relationships and communicate with clients to explain proposals, present research findings, establish specifications or discuss project status.
    • Providing analytical and problem solving support, employing engineering skills, in support of business and quality improvement processes.
    • Assist in the preparation of project proposals, bill- of quantities and documentation (Operating and maintenance Manuals)
    • Advise and assist in obtaining patents or meeting other legal requirements.
    • Maintain an awareness of trends, knowledge of the market and may also conduct research / market intelligence in the field of expertise.(Material sourcing and price Intelligence)
    • Confer with engineers, regulators, vendors and others, to plan and review projects,
    • Make presentation at professional meetings further knowledge in the field.

    Requirements

    • BSc, BTech / HND or M.Sc. (or its equivalent) in Mechanical Engineering from a reputable and accredited higher institution of learning.
    • Minimum of 5 years post NYSC experience working in same capacity and industry
    • Must be a registered member of COREN & NSE.
    • Candidate must have expertise in AutoCAD, and Revit has an added advantage.

    Project Management Office (PMO) Engineer - Mechanical

    Job Summary

    • PMO Engineers are there to ensure project and program success, and that's critical because organizations deliver value through projects and programs.

    Responsibilities
    Your responsibilities include but not limited to:

    The Project Management Office (PMO) Engineer is required to provide a full range of project management support for the Revenue Engagement Area (REA), including:

    • Support to plan, design and deliver project activities in accordance with the MAR&MOR Operations Manual
    • Ensure short-term contracts are managed in accordance with their terms of reference
    • Responsible for the day-to-day management of medium to large MEP projects of all types.
    • To ensure professional standards of work are maintained and projects are completed to time and budget.
    • To complete post-project analysis and reporting on projects undertaken in a timely manner and to the highest professional standard.
    • To ensure compliance to methods of project initiation, execution and delivery.
    • Provide support to QAQC team with activity tracking and monitoring, data collection and database administration related to coordination, as required.
    • Ensure the efficient capture and retrieval of complete and accurate project records
    • Facilitate the rapid and efficient completion of the project programme for field Engineers
    • To ensure that project results are made available to the relevant people, providing feedback to project managers, project teams and other staff as necessary
    • To monitor the progress of a project against agreed and documented time and budget targets while ensuring appropriate quality standards are maintained;
    • To liaise with Project Managers and Senior Project Managers to enable appropriate project resourcing
    • To ensure that reporting is complete and checked according to the quality control process before it is issued
    • To ensure that the complete and checked project documents are prepared, delivered and acrchived accordingly.

    Requirements
