    Project Manager, A&C

    The Projects Manager is responsible for overseeing RMX business improvement and business expansion projects. This role requires strong leadership, organizational, and technical skills to ensure that projects are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget.

    What you'll be doing

    • Project Leadership
      • Develop comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
      • Coordinate with clients, engineers, architects, and suppliers to ensure all project requirements are met.
      • Ensure that project milestones and deadlines are achieved, adjusting schedules as necessary.
    • Project Oversight and Proposal
      • Conduct project’s feasibility including gathering relevant informations and analysis of
        data.
      • Collaborate with relevant stake holders to ensure values are verified and captured 
      • Propose to the business development manager how to initiate such projects
    • Process Control and Compliance:
      • Ensure that each development process meets all integrity requirements, and regulatory guidelines. Business contacts are transparent and adhere to competition laws
      • Monitor the adherence to health and safety regulations within the plant and on construction sites.
    • Team Management:
      • Project team members may comprise of direct employees and other stakeholders such as contractors , vendors and interdepartmental staffs
      • Provide training and development opportunities to team members to improve performance and ensure efficient operations.
      • Conduct performance reviews and address any staffing issues or concerns.
    • Budget and Cost Management:
      • Develop project budgets, monitor expenditures, and ensure cost-effective use of resources.
      • Identify opportunities for cost reduction without compromising quality or timelines.
      • Track project financials, prepare reports, and present updates to senior management.
    • Client Interaction and Reporting:
      • Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure project needs and expectations are being met.
      • Address any client concerns, resolve issues, and provide regular updates on project status.
      • Prepare and present detailed progress reports and performance metrics to clients and senior management.
    • Risk Management:
      • Identify potential project risks, including delays, quality issues, or cost overruns, and implement mitigation strategies.
      • Address on-site challenges, such as weather conditions, site accessibility, or equipment malfunctions.
    • Environmental Sustainability:
      • Ensure the plant operates in compliance with environmental regulations, including waste management, emissions, and sustainability practices.
      • Promote eco-friendly practices such as using recycled materials or energy-efficient processes where possible.
    • Documentation and Reporting:
      • Maintain accurate records of production schedules, delivery logs, and quality control reports.
      • Ensure proper documentation for compliance with legal, safety, and environmental standards.

    Assistant, HR/IR Manager, Mfamosing

    Working with the HR Business Partner, the role provides support in the delivery of the HR agenda to the business. This includes preparing analysis and materials for HR processes e.g. FRC, annual salary review, supporting line managers and acting as assigned Business Partner to certain groups

    What you'll be doing

    • Support the implementation of the annual agenda for HR Strategy in line with the functional plan.
    • Support the Plant HRBP in the recruitment of non-cadre staff.
    • Maintain the personnel administration/records for the site, ensuring on-time delivery, accuracy of information provided and legal compliance (especially for annual social statements, and individual contracts).
    • Support the development and continuous improvement of HR systems and policies in line with best practices.
    • Work with the Head of HR Industrial and Plant HRBP to identify opportunities and areas of improvement to support improved organisational and people performance.
    • Coach and equip supervisors to effectively manage their people in line with people plans e.g. performance management 
    • Support production of HR data reporting and analysis to satisfy routine and ad-hoc organisational requirements 
    • Working with the Head of HR, Industrial/IR, manage employee and industrial relations for the plant and provide support and guidance to the Plant HRBP.
    • Manage the interface with relevant statutory bodies and trade associations in the locality as agreed with the Plant HRBP in conjunction with the Head of HR Industrial/IR. 
    • Support the Plant HRBP in the deployment of policies for effective employee / industrial relations management across the plant.
    • Support the Plant HRBP on employee and industrial relations issues to ensure a peaceful industrial atmosphere.
    • Liaising with the Head of HR Industrial/IR, support Plant HRBP in resolving industrial relations crisis in the plant.
    • Provide necessary support for the Plant HRBP during salary negotiations.
    • Under the direction of the Plant, HRBP manages projects as required.
    • Monitor the social climate in the plant and provide regular feedback to the Plant HRBP and Head of HR Industrial/IR.
    • Collaborate with and support other roles within the O & HR function as required.

    • Graduate in any discipline, preferably the Social Sciences
    • 2 – 3 years relevant HR BP or generalist experience in an Industrial setting 
    • CIPD certification added advantage

    Automobile Electrician, Mfamosing

    Looking for a top-notch auto electrician that is well-versed in Installing and repairing electrical wiring, diagnosing problems with rig electrical systems, repairing damaged electrical parts, maintaining electrical components for mobile equipment.
    Knowledgeable in modern rig electrical systems, have a good eye to detail, and be able to problem –solve complex electrical problems, ultimately a top-notch auto electrician that is versed in the art of using electrical schematic to troubleshoot complex electrical faults and implement final solutions in mobile plants.

    What you'll be doing

    • Maintain mobile equipment in good working condition by following preventive and corrective maintenance schedules according to OEM.
    • Break down complex electrical information into simpler parts for team members with little or no understanding of rig system operations.
    • Locate and remove defective parts for skilled adjustment, repair or replacement.
    • Correct faults and maximized performance by rebuilding engine, electric and individual components.
    • Turn mobile plant electric systems and components to optimize functionality and prolong life of each piece.
    • Regular maintenance and addressing any engine-related electrical issues that is essential to keep the rig running smoothly.
    • Perform auto electrical maintenance and repairs activities and system evaluations on mobile equipment in a safe manner
    • Routine electrical wire checks and testing equipment to ensure compliance with specifications and safety standards of OEM.
    • Conduct periodic mechanical and electrical instruments inspections on mobile plant system to ensure it is functioning properly at all time
    • Develop solutions and rebuild equipment electrical systems, ensure good rig maintenance and repairs whenever inspection is carried out on mobile equipment.
    • Read and interpret assembly electrical diagrams to determine lasting solutions to mobile plants, auto greasing systems, electromechanical equipment.
    • Repair and replace faulty electrical components with efficiency and accuracy in accordance with OEM and maintaining a clean work
    • Ensure company working hours and good shift timings are maintained. 
    • Ensure safe working conditions and good safe practices are applied at work.

    • Human dimension: Mobile Plant Manager 
    • Organisational dimension: The incumbent interacts regularly with all categories of Staff in the Plant and offers professional advice on best practise to maintain mobile equipment. He also interacts regularly with the plant operators on best operating practises. 

    What we are looking for  

    Level of education/qualifications required:

    • National Diploma coupled with experience in similar industry or a Higher National Diploma in Electrical engineering with at least 5 years’ experience in the industry Specific Work experience:

    Technical / Functional Skills:

    • Over 5-8 years’ work experience in heavy mobile plant industry
    • Good working knowledge of CAT, Cummins diesel engines and equipment
    • Ability to carry out faulty diagnosis on diesel engines, hydraulic and transmission systems
    • Good knowledge of possible diagnostic tool (SIS, ET, Processes, etc.)
    • Good knowledge of safety regulations and rules applicable in an industrial area
