    Warehouse Team Leader

    The key purpose of this position is to directly supervise, manage and optimize warehouse operations (Receipt, Storage, Replenishment, Shipping and Returns) to meet and exceed set goals. This function oversees and coordinates daily warehousing activities by implementing quality, productivity, production, and customer service standards.

    Key Outputs and Responsibilities

    • Manage and drive improvements in daily warehouse operations – Receipt, Storage, Offloading, Loading.
    • Optimize all warehouse processes to ensure satisfactory and on-time delivery to customers
    • Manage warehouse Inventory with focus on driving inventory accuracy
    • Process customer receipts and pass customer credit.
    • Process inter-depot and inter-warehouse transfers.
    • Manage all critical products affecting Downtime Caused by Logistics e.g. Sorting and FLT availability
    • Manage the inflow and outflow of products (Full Products and Containers)
    • Drive achievement of warehouse PI’s and KPI’s
    • Participate in annual target setting and cascading
    • Cascade Team and Individual Goals and Manage Team Performance (Daily Performance Tracking, Monthly One on One’s)
    • Develop and Implement process standards: SOPs, OPL’s OWDs etc.
    • Manage Warehouse stock to ensure quality and availability to customers (Internal and External)
    • Maintain and improve safety by driving the correct safety behaviors on the shop-floor.
    • Ensure optimal asset utilization (Warehouse, Forklifts, Human Resources)
    • Ensure accuracy of inventory and shipments
    • Facilitate Team dynamics.
    • Supervise Daily Stock Counts
    • Manage internal and external customer complaints

    Own and Drive Implementation of DPO

    • Engage with the Plant regarding their DPO dream by driving DPO on the shop floor.
    • Representation during milestone audits will be necessary to support the Plant’s DPO dream

    Warehouse KPI Reporting:

    • Collate and Submit daily PI/KPI data as per requirement by the Warehouse Controller.

    Qualifications & Experience:

    • Min. of B.Sc./ B.Tech /HND in a related field.
    • 2 years’ experience in Logistics and Supply Chain Management

    Distribution Team Leader

    The key purpose of this position is to  drive a consistent Customer service experience by ensuring superior in-trade execution of the Distribution lever while executing our competition strategy responsibly. Grow profitability by exploiting delivery mode opportunities. Ensure DPO Delivery Pillar and Good Operating Practices are adhered to.

    Key outputs and responsibilities:

    • Implement DPO management routines
    • Operational work diagnosis (OWD) done to check compliance to all SOP's and standards
    • Dedicated work area 5's inspection / audit, visual boards updated with 5's scores and gaps
    • OWD's done for Quality, truck departure, truck arrival and truck delivery process at POC
    • Track Customer delivery performance (CDP) reasons & action plans developed and implemented
    • Driver feedback analysis done, and feedback given to drivers
    • Relevant customer service training conducted for delivery team
    • Refusals tracked, analysed and action plans created and implemented
    • OWD's done for Quality, truck departure, truck arrival and truck delivery process at POC
    • Transport labour productivity - GOPS completed, and action plans developed
    • Delivery process standardized and SOP's implemented
    • Plan vs actual km analysed, action plans developed and implemented
    • Maintain open communication channels with CIC and Centralized Planning
    • Track and adhere to SLA with stakeholders to leverage appropriate relationships

    Packaging Training Controller

    The key purpose of this position is to provide a specialized and effective training and development service & solution to the Packaging team, focusing on skills acquisition and performance.

    Key outputs and responsibilities:

    Initiate the Training and Development process

    • Get relevant input for training buckets, this is taking from Team room discussions, ITF, Annual Training Plan and all other problem solving discussion i.e. 5Why's, abnormality reports, walk about
    • Collaborate with People Manager and Training Specialist regarding activities on site
    • Engage with L&D Specialist regarding suitable solutions where the training solution does not exist/not part of the Annual Training Calendar
    • Consolidate departmental training needs by reviewing L&D inputs e.g. PDP as input to the annual LNA / budgeting process

    Prepare for Training

    • Coordinate the logistics of the required training and ensure relevant presenters & candidates are present and available
    • Request Purchase Order requests from the NOCC L&D Services team for external training as per the signed off LNA
    • Obtain approval from Zone L&D Specialist for costs not included in the LNA

    Implement the Learning Process

    • Effective use of SOP's
    • Implement the 8 step SOP process
    • (Execution of the SOP’s are relevant and effective, use the as training aid), track and check whether people are people being trained against SOP,  identify gaps in SOP and ensure Line Manager updates the SOP document)
    • Draw on the expertise of SME's to run learning programmes
    • Ensure all training completed is captured in Training Bucket and registers are completed
    • Ensure all training registers and events are recorded via NOCC L&D Services
    • Adapt training programme to meet the needs of the team / plant / audience i.e. run 2 day programme over a two week period with short intervals
    • Conducts a quality assurance of Visual Boards by engaging with Line Managers / HOD's

    Evaluate the Effectiveness of Training and Develop ROI report

    • Complete the Level 1 evaluations for formal classroom training, analyse the results and develop actions that will improve training effectiveness

    Monitor and Support SKAP

    • Assist Line Manager to develop annual SKAP plan for teams
    • Monitor weekly / monthly adherence to plan
    • Support Line Manager to schedule formative and summative assessments
    • Identify SME Assessors and ensure an adequate pool of assessors in the plant
    • Administration of CAP Management system by ensuring information is accurate (Line Manager captures the assessment result, TC quality assures)

    Drive Competence of Future pipeline leaders

    • Conduct monthly check in with trainee to identify opportunities for trainee to attend training as per the planned training bucket
    • (Line Manager responsible to report on progress, driving the trainee programme progress)
    • Apprentices:  Ensure Apprentice training solutions are included in  the training bucket,  identify opportunities for apprentice to attend training as per the planned training bucket
    • Learnerships: Coordinate of the Learnership Programme 
    • Department coordination of any ABInBev training requirements (i.e.VPO etc)

    Training Progress Reported, Action plans in place to address gaps.

    • Ensure the relevant KPI's are reported against weekly and monthly routines
    • Communicate and share with relevant stakeholders on site

    Packaging Operator

    The key purpose of this position is to safely operate and maintain defined Packaging equipment (Filling and labelling process areas which have a bigger business impact with cost and consumer quality) and related process to achieve optimal effectiveness.

    Responsibilities and Accountabilities

    • Operating equipment in Packaging process areas according to VPO standards 
    • Constantly reviewing process performance against target, and recording short stops and correcting any out of controls using the VPO tools
    • Recording waste and movement of product on the appropriate documentation or information systems. Review trends to identify & resolve problems
    • Carrying out autonomous operations as defined for the process areas. 
    • Identify defective plant, and report these through to the Process Artisan or Team Leader to assist with resolution.
    • Assisting the Process Artisan/Machine specialist in executing running repairs on shift
    • Carrying out the required quality checks and analyses and recording the results on the appropriate information system.
    • The list of quality checks to be executed is contained in the work instructions.
    • react to the results using the VPO tools supplied
    • Actively participate in shift meetings, asking questions to test understanding and contributing suggestions. Making use of the action logs to record issues, problems, and improvement opportunities.
    • Fully understand the team Dream and contribute in achieving it. 
    • Make use of relevant communication media (e.g. shift logbook) to stay informed and inform others of issues.
    • Complete required hand over to incoming shift team members, ensuring the issues relating to plant performance, quality and maintenance are communicated
