    Project Development Manager (Expat)

     Are you an experienced Project Development Specialist looking for your next career opportunity? This could be the role for you.

    Purpose of role
    The prospective candidate will be responsible for the delivery of whole life cycle of a 550MW gas fired plant project, through financing strategies, planning phase to site implementation phase, commissioning and handover.

    Responsibilities

    • You’re likely to get involved in the management of large and complex multi-disciplinary consultancy assignments covering project development and consultancy services. These services include feasibility, FEED studies,engineering services for a wide range of new build, retrofit and life extension power generation projects
    • Provision of project development advice and consultancy to a wide variety of clients while liaising with teams to coordinate technical, commercial and environmental input to major power related projects.
    • Maintenance and implementation of technical governance for project development and specification of equipment to achieve a process objective.
    • Supervision of detailed design for new build power generation plant and retrofits / modifications to existing facilities.
    • Review of plant equipment, systems and operating regimes to identify problems and develop improvement and upgrade plans.
    • Technical due diligence assessment of assets to support potential acquisitions while leading preparation of tenders and proposals.
    • Supervise and Manage all Sub – Contractors scope of the entire Projects evaluating their performance and ensuring full compliance to quality works according to agreed Terms of Reference.

    Qualifications & Skills

    • B.Sc/HND degree in relevant engineering discipline or equivalent qualifications & experience. Chartered Engineer status is an added advantage.
    • Membership of a professional engineering body: COREN, NSE, IEE etc
    • Experience should include planning, budgeting, executing, monitoring and cash flow management of complex projects
    • Substantial track record of project development and delivery with ability to understand a wide range of processes through review of P&IDs, operating instructions, etc

They are currently looking to engage a suitable qualified professional who would be responsible for providing comprehensive production technology expertise function within the company.

    Job Description

    • If you would be interested in a highly engaging and rewarding opportunity as a Production Technologist for a leading E & P company that would oversee the following functions:
    • Provide comprehensive Production Technology expertise to the subsurface study teams in a Petroleum Engineering organization undertaking field development studies, development plan revisions, implementation of field life extensions and optimal exploitation of hydrocarbons
    • Develop, improve and maintain disciplinary technical standards in all applications related to Production Technology
    • Participate in the preparation of development plans, technical feasibility and optimization studies to ensure project value is maximized
    • Co-ordinate with Assets and Development BU on the flow of project approval documentation, timing, resources, post implementation results & data documentation
    • Co-ordinate with all relevant service providers to ensure that all services provided are properly documented, checked, and entered into company data base system

    The Successful Applicant
    For the successful Production Technologist, you will have:

    • A university degree in Engineering, preferably in Petroleum Engineering, or any other related discipline
    • Minimum 8 years of experience in Oil & Gas Industry of which more than 5 years in Petroleum Engineering/Production Technology and operational experience
    • Possess good understanding of the complete life cycle of field development and integration of geology, petrophysics, reservoir engineering and well technology
    • Proficient in the use of the industry standard production technology tools.

    JV Accountant

They are currently looking to engage a suitable qualified professional who would be responsible for preparing and handling the day-to day accounting of operated and non-operated joint venture properties of the company

    Job Description
    If you would be interested in a highly engaging and rewarding opportunity as the JV Accountant for a leading E & P company then this is right for you:

    • As the JV Accountant, you would settle Joint Venture dispute resolution for assigned partners, ensure accurate reconciliation of joint venture account receivables, make Pay-out statement preparation, be fully responsible for preparing and handling the day-to day accounting of operated and non-operated joint venture properties and any other ad hoc duties as assigned.
    • This exciting position will have the candidate working both independently and directly with an winderful team lead but also requires interaction with other internal departments such as: production accounting group and operations group.

    The Successful Applicant
    For the successful JV Accountant, you will have:

    • A university degree in a related discipline with a minimum of 6years experience in a similar function.
    • Possess good understanding of the complete life cycle of field development and integration of geology, petrophysics, reservoir engineering and well technology
    • Proficient in the use of the industry standard production technology tools.
