Responsibilities

• Define the product strategy around Duplo’s strategic goals and build an effective roadmap to prioritize important features properly.
• Contribute to the product vision together with the Chief Product Officer 
• Lead product pods and collaborate with other teams to deliver on goals.
• Create and maintain a vision for our credit products that you’ll be responsible for.
• Lead innovation by proposing ambitious features.
• Validate whether product strategies will have the intended impact with a combination of qualitative user research and quantitative experimentation.
• Work with merchant-facing internal stakeholders, direct and utilize user research, data analysis, and market research to identify high priority seller and business opportunity areas

Experience and Qualifications

• 5+ years of product management experience or equivalent in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience developing product strategies and breaking them down into clearly scoped roadmaps and requirements.
• Analytical rigor - experience diving into data and extrapolating insights to make decisions.
• A strong sense of user empathy and interest in supporting independent businesses.

• Strong design and product sensibilities.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to create clarity from ambiguity and distill complex issues into easy to understand narratives.

• Experience testing and launching products at scale with a high bar for experimental rigor.

Responsibilities:

• Lead various projects across several teams to help create processes and execute strategies to ensure projects are developed in a timely manner.

• Plan and lead the development of new products and features.

• Be responsible for all aspects of product development, from ideation through architecture to implementation, testing and continuous deployment.

•  Provide technical leadership to teammates through coaching and mentorship

• Maintain high standards of software quality within the team by establishing good practices and habits

•  Collaborate with other software developers, business analysts and software architects to plan, design, develop, test, and maintain Duplo’s systems.

• Assist in the collection and documentation of user’s requirements, development of user stories, estimates and work plans.

• Prepare reports, manuals and other documentation on the status, operation and maintenance of Duplo’s systems.

• Design, develop, and unit test applications in accordance with established standards

• Package and support deployment of releases

• Oversee the infrastructure and all existing and new pipelines (CI/CD and Data)

•  Assess opportunities for application and process improvement and prepare documentation of rationale to share with team members and other affected parties

•  Adhere to high-quality development principles while delivering solutions on-time and on-budget.

Technical & Professional Requirements:

• 4+ years of management experience: individuals, teams, and project management

• 8+ years of experience in software development

• Experience with Javascript\Typescript, Node.js, REST\GraphQL

• Deep understanding of scalable architecture and distributed systems using microservices \ queues \ serverless

• Experience working on AWS cloud environments. Serverless\Kubernetes\ Docker\ECS

• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases

• Experience working in CI/CD workflows, Agile methodologies

• An execution mindset, good analytic skills and a teamplayer
