    Business Development Manager

    Job Description

    • We are hiring a Business Development Manager to join our growing team. You will be responsible for developing pipeline and reaching out to merchants, brands and organizations looking to build on top of the Duplo platform. The position is remote but we'd like someone based in Lagos, Nigeria. 
    • You have a track record of building strategic relationships, solution selling and enablement with brands.
    • You will be a critical member of our commercial team identifying companies that Duplo can partner with to co-launch financial and banking products to market.
    • You will be a product expert and have a critical business and investment acumen to evaluate, qualify, and align Duplo’s value proposition, core features, and benefits to the current and future roadmap needs of prospective Duplo Program Partners.

    The right individual has:

    • Experience selling innovative digital products to brands and affiliate partners
    • Strong relationship building skills
    • Strong prospecting and sales development skills for account-based selling

    What You'll Do

    • Identify and source prospective program partners via channel partners, linkedin, social media and existing contacts and databases
    • Open doors with new prospects, map the organization and find the decision maker(s)
    • Confidently position the company, value proposition, proposal and pricing and exhibit fluency in powering your own product demos.
    • Provide internal feedback about product opportunities and unmet needs
    • Work with client success team to ensure 100% customer satisfaction.

    Qualifications

    • College Degree or equivalent
    • 7+ year strategic partnership, business development, or strategic sales with brands, financial services, or SaaS
    • Experience successfully developing and utilizing a consultative business and partnership roadmap
    • Consistently and accurately uses sales and marketing technology tools like Hubspot, LinkedIn, and other social platforms.

    Technical Product Manager

    Job Description

    • Act as a primary liaison between product and engineering teams
    • Manage and review product requirements within the team and provide feedback to product management and other stakeholders
    • Define engineering user stories, maintain and prioritize product backlog.
    • Determine tasks for the developers / engineering team based on the product prioritization.
    • Keep a good communication framework across the company through documentation
    • Collaborate with product, design, engineering and architecture teams to translate product strategy into detailed requirements and prototypes
    • Work closely with engineering teams to deliver with quick time-to-market and optimal resources
    • Continuously evaluate product development progress through each phase and determine if the final deliverable meets or exceeds the expectations and is ready to be delivered.
    • Continuous improvement of product delivery processes
    • Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners
    • Consistently apply and coach significant knowledge of Agile / Lean within the development and product team.

    Qualifications

    • B.Sc in Computer Science, Engineering or other related field.
    • 3+ years experience on technology-powered products as a Product Owner, ideally with Software-as-a-Service offerings.
    • Experience delivering software products using Agile / Scaled-Agile methodology.
    • Good written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to communicate and collaborate with co-workers in different countries.

    Desired:

    • Experience in Process Control and/or Automation
    • Software developer or QA in a previous role
    • Agile Certification (CSM or CSPO)
    • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes or virtualization
    • Experience with Atlassian suite and Jenkins
    • Worked with an international team.
