Job Summary:

The Senior Transport Manager  Inbound Operations will oversee the transportation and logistics processes for inbound materials. This role involves direct management of logistics activities to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in the supply chain operations.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of inbound transportation logistics, including planning, scheduling, and execution of inbound material movements.
• Manage relationships with suppliers and transport service providers to ensure the timely and quality delivery of materials.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and environmental standards in all transportation activities.
• Conduct regular analysis of inbound transportation costs and optimize logistics operations for cost efficiency.
• Collaborate with procurement and inventory teams to align inbound logistics strategies with supply chain needs.
• Implement and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) for inbound logistics to measure operational performance.
• Develop and maintain logistics management processes, policies, and procedures to support inbound operations.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance supply chain performance and reduce operational risks.
• Supervise and mentor logistics personnel to foster career development and enhance team performance.
• Prepare and present regular reports on inbound logistics performance to senior management.
• Demonstrated success in leading cross functional teams and implementing Transportation Management System (TMS)

Requirements: 

• BSc. in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration,Transport Management,or a related field. 
• Professional Certification CILT (Chartered Institue of Logistics and Transport) is an advantage.
• Minimum of 7-10years of experience in logistics and transportation, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
• Proven expertise in inbound logistics operations and supply chain management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent leadership and communication capabilities.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Familiarity with logistics software and transportation management systems.
• Strong negotiation and relationship management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).

A procurement governance and compliance manager ensures an DCP's procurement activities align with company policies, industry best practices, and legal regulations. The scope includes developing and improving procurement policies and processes, managing a governance framework, overseeing risk management, implementing compliance initiatives through training and audits, and reporting on performance to management.

• Regulatory Monitoring: Stay informed about relevant laws, regulations, and industry best practices to ensure the company's procurement activities remain compliant.
• Risk Management: Identify, analyze, and mitigate risks associated with procurement activities, implementing strategies to prevent non-compliance.
• Training and Guidance: Provide training, advice, and guidance to procurement teams and other stakeholders on governance policies, procedures, and best practices.
• Performance Monitoring & Reporting: Monitor compliance, track improvement actions, and produce regular reports on governance and performance to support decision-making.
• Process Improvement: Lead projects and initiatives using methodologies like Lean principles to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of procurement processes and systems.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various internal and external stakeholders, including suppliers and other departments, to ensure effective implementation of governance frameworks and policies.
• Compliance Audits: Conduct assurance activities and audits to verify adherence to established governance and compliance requirements.
