    Graduate Engineer Trainees

    As a graduate engineer trainee, some of your responsibilities include but will not be limited to:

    • Shadowing staff members across technical departments at Dangote Cement.
    • Participate on-the-job training, meetings, workshops, and team-building events.
    • Taking notes on experiences and keeping a log of things learned.
    • Compiling reports and making presentations to other staff members.
    • Analyzing existing systems and offering new ideas for improvement.
    • Showcasing positive energy into the organization with lasting professional relationships with staff.
    • Conducting research and assisting the Supervisor wherever possible.
    • Completing fieldwork or visiting different work sites when required.
    • Upholding the good name of the company at all times.

    At the end of this programme, you should be ready for higher responsibilities.

    Requirements

    • First Degree in Mechanical/ Electrical or relevant engineering discipline.
    • Must have at least a second class lower or lower credit.
    • Must have completed NYSC between 2023 and Application Closing Date
    • Must be 28 years old or younger.
    • Minimum of 5 O’level credits in one sitting including English language and Mathematics
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Office tools

    Relationship Officers

    Job Summary

    We are looking for competent Relationship Officers who will act as a liaison, develop and maintain business relationship with Dangote Cement Plc corporate clients.

    Requirements

    Key Duties and Responsibilities

    • Manage relationships with corporate clients.
    • Maintain and update current customers' information accurately.
    • Communicate need for discount approvals as requested by customers.
    • Grow revenue and market share as directed through acquisition of new accounts and proper management of existing corporate accounts.
    • Ensure quick and accurate dispatch of products to customers.
    • Recommend qualifying customers for credit sales, including preparing the documentation and other justifications required to secure approval.
    • Track and manage credit sales to corporate clients and follow up to ensure prompt payment.
    • Follow up with relevant departments to ensure constant availability of products for corporate customers.
    • Prepare periodic activity , financial and performance reports.
    • Address any customer queries and follow-up to ensure proper resolution.
    • Carry out periodic sales forecast and periodic market intelligence within assigned coverage area and report same to reporting line.

    Education and Work Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree or its equivalent in business or a related discipline.
    • Minimum of 3 - 5 years related job experience.

    Skills and Competencies

    • Good customer relations skills.
    • Strong administration and good problem-solving skills.
    • Attention to details and quality standards.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Proficiency in the use of MS Office (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
    • Knowledge of DCP’s product and service offering.

    Data Analyst (MIS)

    Job Summary:

    As a MIS Data Analyst, you will be responsible for ensuring the effective collection, analysis, and dissemination of data and information to support the decision-making processes within the organization. Your primary duties will include maintaining data systems, generating reports, and assisting in the interpretation of data for managerial and operational use. You will work closely with various departments to gather, validate, and organize data while also ensuring data accuracy and security.

    Job Description:

    • Prepare the daily morning truck status.
    • Maintain and monitor the data management system to organize fleets according to various schedules and requests.
    • Review the daily tracking return report.
    • Prepare weekly and monthly fuel consumption reports.
    • Create maintenance notifications for trucks.
    • Prepare monthly truck performance reports.
    • Compute and analyse the turnaround time (TAT) for trucks.
    • Perform any other duties as assigned by the HOD.

    Requirements

    • B.Sc. in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
    • Minimum of 2 years experience in logistics, supply chain, or a related role is a plus.

    Skills & Competencies

    • Proven skills to analyze statistical information.
    • Data visualization and Power BI Skills
    • Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
    • Knowledge of data management and database systems.
    • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
    • Basic knowledge of relevant supporting tools and technologies such as MS Excel, SAP, etc.
