    Control Room Security Supervisor

    Job Summary

    • The Control Room Security Supervisor is responsible for the effective supervision, coordination, and performance of all control room operations. This role ensures real-time monitoring, incident response coordination, and communication support to field security personnel. 
    • The position plays a key role in maintaining situational awareness, enforcing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and ensuring the integrity of security systems such as CCTV, access control, alarms, and communication networks.

    Job Details

    Operational Supervision 

    • Supervise control room operators and ensure continuous 24/7 monitoring of CCTV, alarms, access control, and other surveillance systems. 
    • Ensure operators adhere strictly to established SOPs, reporting protocols, and escalation procedures. Assign and monitor operator duties, ensuring coverage and accountability across all shifts. 
    • Review incident and daily operational reports for completeness, accuracy, and timely submission. 

    Incident Management & Communication 

    • Serve as the central communication link during emergencies or incidents. Coordinate immediate response with on-ground security teams and notify relevant stakeholders as required. 
    • Ensure all incidents, alarms, and system events are logged, investigated, and properly documented. 
    • Support post-incident analysis and contribute to incident review meetings. 

    System Management 

    • Oversee the proper functioning of all control room systems including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and communication equipment. 
    • Report faults or malfunctions promptly to the technical support team and follow up on rectification. 
    • Ensure data storage, footage retrieval, and evidence management are done in line with policy and legal requirements. 

    Compliance and Quality Control 

    • Conduct regular audits of control room activities to ensure compliance with SOPs, company policies, and data protection laws. 
    • Maintain strict confidentiality and integrity of security information and video records. 
    • Implement continual improvement measures for operational efficiency and effectiveness. 

    People and Performance Management

    • Supervise, train, and evaluate control room operators to maintain high operational standards. 
    • Support the professional development of staff through mentoring and coaching.
    • Enforce discipline, punctuality, and adherence to organizational values and ethics

    Requirements

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • Minimum of HND / Bachelor’s degree in Crime Management, ICT, or related field.
    • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a control room environment, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
    • Professional certification (e.g., ASIS CPP, PSP, or equivalent) is an added advantage.
    • Strong knowledge of CCTV operations, access control systems, and incident response procedures.
    • Familiarity with digital evidence handling and data protection standards.

    Skills and Competencies:

    • Excellent leadership and supervisory skills.
    • Strong communication and report-writing ability.
    • High level of integrity and confidentiality.
    • Proficiency in computer-based monitoring systems and MS Office Suite.
    • Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure.
    • Analytical and problem-solving mindset.

    Working Conditions:

    • Shift-based work, including nights, weekends, and public holidays.
    • High-stress environment requiring sustained attention and vigilance.
    • May involve extended hours during emergencies or special operations.

    Performance Indicators (KPIs):

    • Compliance with reporting timelines and SOPs.
    • Incident response accuracy and timeliness.
    • CCTV uptime and fault resolution rate.
    • Operator performance and adherence to duty schedules.
    • Quality of documentation and record-keeping.

    Procurement Officer

    Job Summary

    • The Procurement Officer is responsible for managing supplier relationships and overseeing the procurement lifecycle to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services. Responsibilities include identifying and evaluating potential suppliers/contractors, floating and analyzing enquiries, negotiating terms, preparing purchase/work orders, and coordinating logistics for material delivery. 
    • The candidate will play a key role in supporting project execution by ensuring materials and services are procured and delivered in line with company standards, specifications, and deadlines.

    Job Details

    • Identify, register all potential suppliers/contractors, and monitor/ analyze their performance.
    • Float enquiries for approved material requisition/indents, review quotations, compare, negotiate with suppliers/ contractors with regard to obtain the best price/quality and delivery/completion on time
    • Inspect materials/equipment before finalization of purchase.
    • Prepare a comparison chart and make of Purchase Order /Work Order for management approval.
    • Release of Purchase Order/Work Order to suppliers/contractors and following up for timely and prioritized delivery/completion as per approved specification and delivery/completion terms.
    • Logistics arrangement for transferring materials within units/project sites.
    • Document/Monitor for indents (MR)/ service indent (FRMR) /PO / WO and create a data bank.
    • Follow up with the account department for suppliers/contractors payment when due.
    • Coordinate with the account department for the timely release of payment to ensure goods are delivered on time. 
    • Any other responsibilities as may be delegated by Management.

    Requirements

    Experience: 

    • Minimum 5 years’ experience required for managerial responsibilities with any technical background, preferably Electrical/mechanical engineering.

    Educational Qualification:

    • B.Tech, B.Eng., or HND in Electrical, Mechanical or Civil Engineering.

    Professional Qualification: 

    • Professional Certifications in Supply Chain & Procurement will be an added advantage.

    Skills and Competencies

    • Very good communication skills.
    • Good knowledge of market trends.
    • Very good negotiating skills.
    • Very good knowledge of product specification and market sources.
