    Retail Marketing Associate- Multiple Locations

    Retail Marketing Associate (RMA) is responsible for sales & marketing of all AP product offerings (white products, Lubricants, LPG, Renewables etc) at AP retail outlets. The job holder is responsible for retail outlets‘ supervision, business development, account reconcilliation, personnel training and development, conducting competitive analysis and stakeholder management at assigned territories.

    Job Details

    • Monthly appraisal of all Outlet Managers and Dealers within assigned area of coverage
    • Expand the company’s retail footprint within assigned area of coverage
    • Responsible for all Company outlets’ supervision within assigned area of coverage.
    • Conduct financial exposure audit at Company Operated stations twice a month.
    • Monthly account reconciliation and Dealer statement sign-off.
    • Manage relationships with external stakeholders/regulatory authorities
    • Manage retail customer under coverage and achieve set KPI’s
    • Minimum of 2 station visits per month to each outlet under assigned area of coverage
    • Deploy Retail Quality Checklist (RQC) at least once a month 
    • Carry out random pump integrity checks at each retail outlet at least twice a month
    • Carry out dumping and diversion spot checks monthly at retail stations
    • Achieve zero outstanding proof of delivery waybills at the end of each sales month.
    • Achieve 100% of volume and gross margin targets across all product lines monthly.

    Requirements

    Education

    • A bachelor's degree with a minimum of a 2.2 in marketing, business administration, or related field.

    Experience

    • 4-6 years relevant experience

    Skills

    • Able to present and express information effectively and also responds positively to feedback
    • Good knowledge of Ardova’s products and services
    • Good customer service, relationship management tools, networking/teaming skills
    • Good understanding of the local and international Oil & Gas sector including guiding principles and regulations. Good knowledge of marketing operations in the downstream oil and gas marketing sector.
    • Thorough when performing work and conscientious about attending to detail.
    • Applies innovative solutions to problems and improve internal processes. 
    • Good people management skills, supervisory, coaching and mentoring skills

    Business Manager (Retail)- Southwest & North II

    Optimization of company’s assets for sales and marketing of all company‘s products across the retail outlets and providing leadership to the Retail Marketing Associates within the region to deliver set targets. The job holder is charged with coordinating sales activities, development and implementation of strategies and plans to achieve expected levels of sales at the retail outlets across designated region.

    Job Details

    • Business development of the company operated outlets in the region.
    • Lead the drive for the growth of AP’s market share in the region 
    • Ensure compliance is maintained with AP’s policies in operation area.
    • Deliver on volume, revenue, profit and OPEX set targets 
    • Provide leadership to the team to foster collaboration needed to function as a unit.
    • Drive regulatory compliance within area of operation.
    • Set budgets and conduct periodic performance appraisal for Retail Marketing Associates 
    • Ensure compliance with HSE standards across all retail outlets in the region
    • Liaise with Terminal operations and fleet to ensure product availability and optimal stock quantities for the stations
    • Propose product prices to drive profitability and revenue.     
    • Keep abreast of industry and market trends, as well as competition at the regional level to support strategic decision making
    • Drive the deployment of effective strategies to increase footfall at the retail outlets and strengthen the brand.

    Requirements

    Education

    • A bachelor's degree with a minimum of a 2.2 in marketing, business administration, or related field.

    • 7-10 years relevant experience
